Hi hivians💕
In line with Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs 1 "No poverty", established by the United Nations in 2015. It is imperative that Agriculture is the major fulcrum of these vital and important points. As for this "No poverty" (to ends poverty in all its forms, everywhere, which aims to eradicate poverty including the lack of food.
Also importantly, SDGs 2or global goals 2 aims to achieve "Zero Hunger", it is also one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations in 2015.which is trying to ensure "End Hunger" achieved food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable Agriculture. According to a report from the United Nations, there are around 690million people who are hungry, which accounts for 9.9 percent of the world population..
However, it is very disheartening to note that one in every nine people goes to bed hungry each night, including 20million people currently at risk of famine in south Sudan, Somalia, Yemen and my country Nigeria
It is against this foregoing coupled with the challenges of recovering from the serious financial difficulties melted on me due to the covid19 pandemic that I venture into agriculture for the first time and today I'm happy to showcase ones again my harvest after lots of sweat and effort as been put into it to make it come to fruition

CHANLLENGES
The journey so far as not been without it own hiccups, hence, it is no surprise that I ran into some stumbling blocks which nearly discouraged me in the middle of the farming process.
However, the first and immediate challenge as to do with finance issues, at a point in the course of the farming I was so short of money, that I find it hard to hire laborers to assist me in wedding the farm since I can do it all by myself.
Also, another major challenges as to do with unstable rainfall which is due climate change, at a point there was a rainfall break for over 4 weeks which also greatly affect the growth of the farm produce.
Furthermore, another major challenges and which as overtime because a reoccurring thing in this part of the world is the enchrochment of the farmland by the Fulani Herdsman and this always lead to serious communal clash between Herders and farmers over the year. This herders encroach my farm when I was not around and have a filled day, they ate and destroy more than half of the farmland.
Some part of the farmland that was destroy by cattles
However, I am more than grateful that all the efforts put into the rigourous farming process did not go in vain.
It as really been a sweet sour experience thus far with lots of mix feelings.
Working under the blazing hot sun.
