The Canadian government kind of went overboard for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, meaning they issues a lot of different stamps and many coin sets! (This is an understatement) These three stamps were issued in early 1976. For the first time in Olympic history, the host country Canada was allowed to showcase our culture through several weeks of concerts, pageants, and exhibitions. Featuring talent in performing arts, plastic arts, graphic arts, and handicrafts. Public participation was encouraged for all these events, especially for the children. The stamp with the musical instrumental is obviously the best, and it was good you started the post with it. 1976 must've been an iconic year.
Like I mentioned, you wouldn't believe how many different stamps and coins, coin sets, gold coins were issued around 1976 to commemorate the olympics. I may do a post on some coins as well, they are really gorgeous coins actually.
They really went all in on celebrating culture with these. The music, the art and craftsmanship stamps, very cool. A proper tribute beyond just the sports

Those are really nice stamps, although the first is my favorite of the bunch. I love the design elements more there for some reason. Although the last one is kind of cool with the film reel.
