Hello Hiveians
I was kinda free today and realised it's been a while since I baked anything last so I went to my kitchen to check what I had in stock and found ingredients enough to make a small batch of shortbread cookies. Here is what I used
- 1½ cup all purpose flour
- ½ cup confectioners sugar(also known as icing sugar)
3.8 tablespoon of butter (room temperature) - Milk flavor
I mixed my butter and confectioners sugar till well combined. Add your flavor (you can use any other flavor but I really like the taste of milk in my pastries) then add your flour . Mix till well combined.
Add a little water to mold it into a dough
Mold it into a rectangular shape and put it inside a nylon.
Freeze it for 1 hour for it to get hard. Bring it out from the refrigerator and cut into desired shape. Use a toothpick or form to design the cookie!
Put it your preheated oven at 175°c and bake for 10 minutes. Your shortbread cookie is ready. Can be served with a glass of milk or cold juice.
Thanks for checking my blog @dejoke.
Better try this myself!
