Roraima has an incredible energy, and I think that the people who go there should be more than physically, psychologically prepared for what is coming. It's more than just going to take pictures 📸
This trip taught me to be patient, to relax before life's adversities, to think, to choose what is best for me, to stand firm and love what surrounds me, to value nature and respect it. I loved that the locals welcomed you with: WaKüpe ru and that we are all : Apetöy (friend). I repeated it many times, as soon as you crossed the road 😅.
When we were at the base camp, Samuel (guide), warned us that a friendly Pemón told him that there was a group of Brazilian tourists who began to undress and make a fuss at the top.
There is a myth that says that NO🚫🔇 YOU MUST SHOUT Or speak very loudly, because, strong noises make the clouds shake and everything gets nuble🌫️☁️🌧, and then it rains a lot ️🌧️. Case that didn't take long to happen.
A torrential rain came 🌧 ️y we were passing work all the groups that were going up and descenso🌧️🏞️.
It was super rough, we crawled, jumped on the way.
I was amazed at the flora and vegetation, those plants were unmatched and beautiful. You saw them so bright and colorful everywhere. I liked the ones that are carnivorous. I was collapsed 🧠 from so many beauty 🤩😍✌🏽🌺Ese día número 3 llovió tan fuerte que se hacían muchas mini cascadas por todo el camino.
That day number 3 it rained so hard that there were many mini waterfalls all along the way.
It was hard trekking 🧗🏽♀ until we reached the wall of RORAIMA (ENERGY PORTAL) ✨, which, is to ask permission from God and nature or PACHAMAMA before continuing to climb, through a prayer, 🙏🏼 showing respect and touching him.
At this point, 🗾 is halfway up. We were approaching what they call the tears of RORAIMA🏞. ️. Which are 2 waterfalls in the form of 😭 tears. SAMUEL (guide), told us that he had climbed 20 times and it was the first time that the tears were so heavy, it looked like a waterfall, and we had to go underneath them to continue climbing.
I felt lucky to witness something that was not common, but at the same time very nervous, my mom was exhausted, the bags and everything that went with them got wet, we were soaked and it was heavier.
We rested for a while, watched the road and continued along some natural stairs, which were very slippery and steep.
There my brain got blocked for a while, I was dying from the cold, as the tears wet us with their icy water, and the temperature dropped every time we went up to the top.
When I saw that my mother was still there, I had to react and I broke down crying like a baby 😭 😭. And I started to climb, and I prayed that the rain would stop, I prayed to God, to nature, I prayed with all my heart.PD: fotos de tomadas por mí, por Samuel📸✨
