This may be an unpopular opinion but is my opinion and and not on Hive to be a travesty
Trump is the worst of US can have, don't gonna do considerations because I think they are not necessary.
Trump was banned from Twitter and what I see right now is a lot of twittes taking the Trump ban to try to promote Hive.
I really believe that those twites are made honestly and to try onboard new people to Hive.
But my questions are:
THANK. YOU.
Good lord, I got into it here with hiveblocks:
hiveblock's message really rubbed me the wrong way. I'm relieved to see others concerned about laying down the welcome mat to those who feel disenfranchised due to Trump's suspension.
Sure,"anyone" can use Hive. But what type of message do we want to send to those who are looking for a new place to spread hate? That they cannot only use Hive, but they are specifically invited to the platform?
A little analogy I've been thinking about: Say a school is allowing a group to meet in a class room every week, and it comes to light that the group is found to be a white supremacist group. The school bans them from any future use and refutes them for what their cause is. Is it wise for other meeting spaces to advertise to the group, "Please meet here! Our doors are open to ANYONE!". I ask, because that's what it feels like is happening with Hive right now.
Frankly, capital raider sympathizes, Q, Proud Boys and Nazis, can go build their own network. If they choose to use Hive, they are NOT welcome here.
I will not follow for sure but my questions is about if we need to point bad example to marketing Hive.. we need to focus in what we have for good not in what others have for bad
Trump and his COVID Team have been live on YouTube every evening at the beginning of this year, which was very informative for me. I haven't seen any other head of anything being that committed to informing me.
This responds any of my questions?
Yes, Trump is/was not that bad. That's just a mainstream opinion.
Ok. Disagree completely but respect your opinion.
Thanks :)

.There are plenty of platforms full of morons posting about political shit. Hive is better off without them and twatter sucks with or without trump.
But I still hope trump "wins" the selection just to see demoturds heads exploding, even though it's all as fake as coronvirus...
I just want hive focus in good marketing :)
I agree. People acting like it's just saying that "Hive is open to anyone" are wrong, because, you are making it NOT OPEN to anyone who is a minority. People of color, leftists, anarchists of any variety besides ancaps, LGBTQ+, immigrants, etc. - all feel unwelcome in a space where nazis are welcome. And you can "mute" but not "block" here, which makes them feel extra unsafe.
It's bad enough that lefties in general feel like the crypto space is not for them - I am ALWAYS trying to welcome people here who are leftists like me and they all think that I'm crazy for it - because I feel like, crypto is how we take power away from the big banks. That's a goal we ALL have, right? To decentralize power and control? But they ALREADY feel unwelcome because of so many rightist attitudes they've seen held by crypto enthusiasts who are just capitalists looking for the next big investment and who don't care about the social good that can be done with it. I talk to them about banking the unbanked and taking power away from international banking companies and so forth, and they're like ...yeah, ok, but (points at some rich, public jerk who's been gushing about Bitcoin or whatever).
"Open to everyone" does need to mean "not for hate speech," or else you really AREN'T open to everyone. You're only open to those who don't feel threatened by the haters.
Side note: I do think we need a "block" option here for safety, not just a "mute." And not just due to politics. Nobody is going to post on a forum where their stalker ex is going to be able to read their blog even if they block that person.
I don't like hate speech! Point.
But my questions are more about if we need to take others bad examples to marketing Hive
