Do you know when to begin a growth phase in your company?. It is when you are able to retain customers and that shows you have a product-market-fit. if you ramp-up growth when you cannot retain customers, you will loose money and achieve absolutely nothing.
however, retaining customers means that your next cohorts of customers must have better experience than the previous, demonstrating that you are closing the gap between the friction in the market and the solution you have brought.
That gap must keep getting smaller and smaller as your product continue to mature and see the limelight. My candid advise is spend time at the service strategy. Get the business analyst involved to understand the target market and what the need trajectory of your customers are.
Do not scale a product that does not have a market-fit yet. have patience, get the market fir and ramp-up. This applied to community developers on hive or any one or group chanting a course. innovation does not begin from the technology staff but from the business perspectives. The ability to develop a business case that is viable and acceptable is key.

now that the customers have arrived and you can boast of huge customer base, you will begin to build capacity in terms of infrastructure and human capital.
