Some time in the evening a work at Wendy's restaurant calls the police saying that there is a man who is sleeping in his car.

The police arrived to meet a man who was actually sleeping in his car. They knock his widow and he wakes up, give some incoherent response to the police officers and goes back to sleep.

The police officers wake him up again and explain to him that he can't be sleeping in his car around there. They discuss for about 30 minutes. He is asked to park his car properly which he does.

He is presumably drunk and after the breath analysis he is found to be drunk. He had explained that his sister lived around the corner and he expressed his wish to go to his sister's house but then just like he wasn't listened to, the police try to arrest him.

The wrestled him to the ground and proceeded to try and stun him. He takes the tazzer and flees arrest.

The police running behind him is seen to change from a tazzer to a gun within seconds and with a gun he shoots him 2 to 3 times on his back.

Many people would asking “what if's”

What if he wasn't sleeping in his car?

What if he wasn't drunk?

What if he didn't resist arrest?

How about what if he wasn't black?

Because a woman was shot in her sleep for no other reason other than her skin colour.

What about the fact that the police's responsibility is to serve and protect?

Should he not have been treated like a person who was supposed to be protected not someone whose life was a threat.

Sort:

You dont steal a weapon and fire it at officers man. period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The police officer is your friend right? So why didn't they treat him the way a friend should have? Why was he seen kicking his body?💔
