Creska janjetina is high-quality lamb meat from a sheep breed, native to the island of Cres.
It can be prepared in various ways - baked in a bread oven (al forno) or under a peka (a metal, bell-shaped lid), spit-roasted, grilled (usually accompanied by polenta), or breaded.
Also, you can prepare lamb chops, lamb goulash, lamb stew with gnocchi, and lamb umido in wine sauce with local aromatic herbs.

The dinner is followed by a tour of this place known for its long tradition and a wonderful view, since it's located at the top of the cliff.

Im just here to see what you're snacking on and I have to say I could see myself getting in on that goulash, never had it before, looks really rich
It was one of the best dishes I've ever had ๐๐ป When I'm in Cres, I always eat lamb (among other sea food dishes) and every time it's better than the last time ๐ The meat melts in your mouth, but the smell is very specific, you like it or you hate it ๐
