¡Hola gente linda de Hive! el día de hoy les traigo un post educativo sobre los planos fotográficos, para este pequeño proyecto me encargue de maquillar a mi mamá y tomarle fotos usando diferentes planos de cámara. Fue una experiencia divertida tanto para ella como para mi. A mi mamá le encanta estar linda, de por si lo es, pero créanme que esta sesión de fotos fue dejo salir su modelo interior.
Hello beautiful people of Hive! Today I bring you an educational post about photographic shots, for this little project I was in charge of making up my mom and taking pictures of her using different camera shots. It was a fun experience for both her and me. My mom loves to look pretty, she already is, but believe me this photo shoot let her inner model come out.

Plano general
General shot
En este plano se trata de la interacción del sujeto con su entorno, el sujeto sigue siendo el protagonista, pero el entorno ofrece gran parte de la información del conjunto de la fotografía.
This shot is all about the interaction of the subject with its environment, the subject is still the protagonist, but the environment provides much of the information of the whole photograph.
Plano entero
Whole shot
Es el plano más justo que se le puede realizar a una persona, el encuadre va desde la cabeza hasta los pies, puede variar en función de la posición del sujeto. En este caso tiene más peso el sujeto que el entorno.
This is the closest shot that can be taken of a person, the framing goes from the head to the feet, it can vary depending on the position of the subject. In this case the subject has more weight than the surroundings.
Plano conjunto
set shot
Es como un plano entero, pero más flexible en cuanto a los cortes que se le pueden realizar al sujeto.
It is like a whole shot, but more flexible in terms of the cuts that can be made to the subject.
Plano americano
American plane
Es uno de los planos más interesantes, surgue de las películas de vaqueros, ya que era necesario crear un encuadre en donde se pudiera ver al sujeto y además a su pistola, pero, sin restarle importancia al vaquero, en este caso hicieron el corte a las rodillas, y se llamó entonces, plano americano por las películas del lejano oeste americanas.
It is one of the most interesting shots, it comes from the cowboy movies, since it was necessary to create a frame where you could see the subject and also his gun, but, without downplaying the cowboy, in this case they made the cut to the knees, and it was then called American shot by the American Wild West movies.
Plano medio
Medium shot
Es uno de los planos más comunes y naturales, en este plano ya podemos empezar a ver las emociones del sujeto, ofrece una visión similar a la que tendríamos de mantener una conversación con alguien, combina la cercanía del rostro con la expresividad del cuerpo. Se encuadra la parte superior del cuerpo del individuo con un corte a la altura de la cintura.
It is one of the most common and natural shots, in this shot we can already begin to see the emotions of the subject, it offers a vision similar to the one we would have if we were having a conversation with someone, it combines the closeness of the face with the expressiveness of the body. The upper body of the individual is framed with a cut at waist level.
Plano medio corto
Short mid-plane
Es aún más cercano que el plano medio, emocionalmente hablando, y también por su encuadre. Es más cerrado que el plano medio y más abierto que el primer plano. Es uno de los planos que pertenece al grupo de los planos emocionales, ya que permite mostrar confidencia e intimidad respecto al personaje. Se incluye el busto del sujeto, el protagonista de la imagen es la expresión del personaje.
It is even closer than the medium shot, emotionally speaking, and also because of its framing. It is closer than the medium shot and more open than the close-up. It is one of the shots that belongs to the group of the emotional shots, since it allows to show confidence and intimacy with respect to the character. The bust of the subject is included, the protagonist of the image is the expression of the character.
Primer plano
First shot
Es el llamado, retrato fotográfico, ya que se enfoca enteramente en el rostro del modelo, abarca los hombros, el cuello y la cara. Generalmente se usa para destacar las expresiones anímicas del personaje, su mirada.
This is the so-called photographic portrait, as it focuses entirely on the model's face, including the shoulders, neck and face. It is generally used to highlight the character's emotional expressions, his or her gaze.
Primerísimo primer plano
Close-up
El encuadre de este plano va desde la barbilla hasta la frente, solo se enfoca el rostro del modelo, es la expresión del retrato fotográfico desde el ángulo más íntimo y puro. Es el plano de mayor intensidad y cercanía usado para retratar un personaje.
The framing of this shot goes from the chin to the forehead, only the model's face is in focus, it is the expression of the photographic portrait from the most intimate and pure angle. It is the most intense and close-up shot used to portray a character.

Los planos nos ayudan a contar historias, y gracias a ellos podemos darle el tono e intensidad que deseamos, digamos que es uno de los pasos más importantes para lograr contar una gran historia.
