Another dull, overcast day but at least the rain held off. I thought my daily walk would be more fitting in black and white.
As a kid we only had black and white photos but I still think they look rather cool.
Black and white photographs can look dramatic and there's no colour to really distract you. If there's the colour red in a photo, my attention immediately goes straight there. If I look at a black and white photograph I tend to analyse it more, as my eyes aren't drawn to one particular area.
If I want to convey a mood of drama then I don't think there's anything better than monochrome.

There's always something dramatic about even the most mundane photo in monochrome. I love the black and white of things but every so often I like a splash of color. Nature and more notably the woods really brings out the character I love it. Thank you so much for sharing these and yes keep on snapping those black and white!

Isn't that so true! I have used throw aways and they are usually some of the best!
