I had a walk in Halldale Wood which I've never visited before. It is a woodland area in Derbyshire that is managed by the Woodland Trust.
I've always loved walking. This past year I've been doing even more. Walking through the wood has become a favorite hobby of mine. I love exploring and getting back to nature and of course having quiet time to have a think.
The silence of the wood has a calming effect. I love hearing the birds singing, the quiet trickling of the brook and the aroma of wet earth because it always rains in the UK, right?
These random stone walls covered in moss look great. I love the way nature just takes over.

it does look a bit mossy 😏
Like my brain .....
I walked out on the beach today and it was hot and blinding sun and sand... in winter. I wanted to cry.
The thing is I looked at the beach front homes and thought they are comfy. The people inside are nice and cozy. Oh god... There was traffic jams on the road and people on bikes and scooters everywhere. I'm in dreamland wishing I had a home with a little yard and garden and place to park a car and it being on quiet street
I can't get my head around how hot it is in your neck of the woods. I like the summer but if it's too hot it saps my energy. I do hope one day you get your home. X
It's great you get to walk peacefully so regularly
Keeps me out of mischief. 🙂
Some mischief keeps one young.
