Saludos querida audiencia de HIVE, mi nombre es Guzmán Rodríguez y soy de Barquisimeto, Venezuela; al día de esta publicación tengo 26 años y vengo a contarles un poco sobre mí (aunque un poquito tarde jeje).

Greetings dear HIVE audience, my name is Guzmán Rodríguez and I am from Barquisimeto, Venezuela; As of the day of this publication I am 26 years old and I have come to tell you a little about myself (although a little late hehe).

Desde niño me ha fascinado la aviación, siempre me gustaba observar los aviones y helicópteros que pasaban volando sobre nosotros. Me encantaba cuando íbamos al Aeropuerto Internacional Jacinto Lara en Barquisimeto y allí podía ver los aviones en la rampa y esperar hasta que despegaran.

Since I was a child I have been fascinated by aviation, I always liked to watch the planes and helicopters that flew over us. I loved it when we went to the Jacinto Lara International Airport in Barquisimeto and there I could see the planes on the ramp and wait until they took off.

Al día de hoy aún me siguen encantando las aeronaves y de vez en cuando sigo saliendo al patio a buscar un avión cuando escucho este pasar sobre la casa, con la diferencia, de que vivo mi sueño de niño hecho realidad, ahora soy ingeniero (carrera que también quise estudiar de niño por mi papá que es ingeniero), pero más específicamente soy ingeniero aeronáutico y vivo mi día a día rodeado de aviones por mi trabajo.

To this day I still love aircraft and from time to time I keep going out to the patio to look for a plane when I hear this happen over the house, with the difference that I live my childhood dream come true, now I am an engineer (a career that I also wanted to study as a child because of my dad who is an engineer), but more specifically I am an aeronautical engineer and I live my day to day surrounded by airplanes for my work.

Me encantan las mascotas, amaba a mi Sasha, una Golden Retriever que tuvimos desde el 2011, la cual era como una pequeña hermanita de cuatro patas bastante traviesa. Me gustaba mucho jugar y pasear con ella, enseñarle trucos y practicar los que ya había aprendido.

I love pets, I loved my Sasha, a Golden Retriever that we had since 2011, who was like a very naughty little four-legged little sister. I really enjoyed playing and walking with her, teaching her tricks, and practicing the ones she had already learned.

Lamentablemente, el tiempo hizo lo suyo y Sasha no está más en este mundo desde hace varios años atrás. Actualmente tenemos dos gatos en la casa, Lyon, un gato gris con rayas de mi primo, y Nito, mi gato de blanco y naranja. Ambos son muy queridos en la familia y les damos mucho cariño todos los días.

Unfortunately, time did its thing and Sasha is no longer in this world several years ago. We currently have two cats in the house, Lyon, a gray striped cat from my cousin, and Nito, my white and orange cat. They are both very dear to the family and we give them a lot of love every day.

Algo que también me fascina tanto como la aviación son los autos, desde niño me gustaban mucho mis carritos de juguete y los videojuegos de carreras, en especial los de la saga Gran Turismo de PlayStation y los videojuegos de carreras de rally. Por ello aprendí a conducir cuando tenía sólo 11 años de edad y, a día de hoy, sigo disfrutando un montón cada vez que voy al volante.

Something that also fascinates me as much as aviation are cars, since I was a child I liked my toy cars and racing video games, especially those of the Gran Turismo saga of PlayStation and rally racing video games. That's why I learned to drive when I was only 11 years old and, to this day, I still enjoy a lot every time I get behind the wheel.

Desde unos años atrás estoy enamorado de la astronomía, aún recuerdo aquella noche que me recosté en el patio a contemplar la lluvia de estrellas de las Geminidas por primera vez en la cual pude contemplar lo mágicas que se ven las estrellas fugaces. Desde aquella vez he estado al tanto de cualquier suceso astronómico que pueda apreciar desde la ciudad donde vivo.

I have been in love with astronomy for a few years, I still remember that night when I lay down in the patio to contemplate the Geminid shower of stars for the first time in which I could see how magical shooting stars look. Since that time I have been aware of any astronomical event that I can appreciate from the city where I live.

Justamente ayer, estaba como un niño jugando con su juguete nuevo, tratando de tomar una fotografía de la luna con la cámara digital que adquirí en días recientes y aún no quepo en mi asombro por esta foto que tomé observando desde una ventana.

Just yesterday, I was like a child playing with his new toy, trying to take a picture of the moon with the digital camera that I acquired in recent days and I still did not fit in my amazement at this picture that I took observing from a window.

Por último, para que no se alargue tanto esta publicación, algo que también me gusta es dibujar a veces; de pronto me viene la idea de querer dibujar algún personaje, busco una imagen de referencia y me pongo manos a la obra para tratar de plasmarla por mi cuenta en mi bloc de dibujo, aún me falta bastante práctica, pero poco a poco voy mejorando en mis creaciones.

Finally, so that this publication does not take so long, something I also like is drawing sometimes; suddenly the idea of wanting to draw a character comes to me, I look for a reference image and I get down to work to try to capture it on my own in my sketchpad, I still lack enough practice, but little by little I am improving in my creations.

Abrí mi blog en HIVE por recomendación de mi preciada amiga @amanardis, y estaré por aquí compartiendo con ustedes historias de mi vida, fotografías que tome, alguna que otra receta que prepare (ya que también me gusta cocinar de vez en cuando), alguna opinión sobre algo, viajes que realice, en fin, espero compartir bastante con ustedes queridos usuarios de HIVE.

I opened my blog on HIVE on the recommendation of my precious friend @amanardis, and I will be here sharing with you stories from my life, photographs I took, the occasional recipe I prepared (since I also like to cook from time to time), any opinion on something, trips that I take, in short, I hope to share a lot with you dear users of HIVE.
