Tengo una historia que quiero contarles porque me siento muy feliz al tener una nueva mascota, es una pequeña gatita que llamamos PANTERA. No sé si es de alguna raza en especial lo único que quiero es darle mucho amor.

I have a story that I want to tell you because I feel very happy to have a new pet, it is a little kitten that we call PANTERA. I don't know if she is a special breed, I just want to give her lots of love.

Aproximadamente unas semanas atrás me encontraba caminando de regreso a casa y en una zona donde había escombros escuchaba maullidos desgarradores, me acerqué un poco para mirar y vi a una gatita amarrada, bastante delgada y con poca fuerza para caminar; estaba en malas condiciones, lo que tocó mi corazón.

Approximately a few weeks ago I was walking back home and in an area where there was debris I heard heartbreaking meows, I got a little closer to look and saw a kitten tied up, quite thin and with little strength to walk; she was in bad condition, which touched my heart.

Tomé a la gatita y la llevé a casa, para mi sorpresa mi madre estaba con mi hermana viendo un programa de televisión, les mostré a la pequeña gatita y les conté lo que había sucedido. Mi hermana se emocionó mucho pero mi madre estaba un poco indecisa con mi decisión, de igual manera la iba a cuidar solo. Aunque al poco tiempo este pequeño animalito tocó el lado más tierno de mi mamá y ahora se ha convertido en su madre protectora, está más pendiente que mi hermana y yo a las necesidades de Pantera.

I took the kitten and took her home, to my surprise my mother was with my sister watching a TV show, I showed them the little kitten and told them what had happened. My sister was very excited but my mother was a little hesitant with my decision, anyway I was going to take care of her alone. Soon this little animal touched my mom's tender side and now she has become her protective mother, she is more attentive to Pantera's needs than my sister and me.

Al inicio la gatita tenía miedo y no dejaba que la tocáramos mucho, imagino que quizás en el pasado la maltrataban y tenía miedo de que sucediera otra vez, poco a poco empezó a ser más dócil e incluso se calmaba cuando la acariciaba, con el pasar de los días ya estaba acostumbrándose a su nuevo hogar, siendo bastante curiosa para entrar a cada rincón de nuestra casa.

At the beginning the kitten was afraid and did not let us touch her much, I imagine that maybe in the past she was mistreated and she was afraid it would happen again, little by little she started to be more docile and even calmed down when I petted her, as the days went by she was getting used to her new home, being curious enough to enter every corner of our house.

La verdad, Pantera ya forma parte de nuestra familia, es muy inteligente, no le gusta estar sola y siempre está caminando cerca de alguno de nosotros buscando un poco de caricias.

The truth is that Pantera is already part of our family, she is very intelligent, she doesn't like to be alone and she is always walking near one of us looking for a little cuddle.

En estos momentos es una mascota súper consentida, lo más que recibe es amor de todos nosotros, se le ve bastante feliz y más activa jugando con algunos pequeños juguetes hechos en casa y siendo así mi pequeña modelo felina.

At the moment she is a super spoiled pet, the most she gets is love from all of us, she looks quite happy and more active playing with some little homemade toys and being my little feline model.
