En mi país se acostumbra a celebrar el segundo domingo de mayo el día de las madres, para homenajear y enaltecer a todas esas mujeres que día a día entregan todo por sus hijos. Particularmente soy muy apegado a mi madre ya que ella ha cumplido con el rol de madre y padre, apoyándome en todo momento; así como motivarme a crecer como persona y a luchar por mis sueños.

In my country it is customary to celebrate Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May, to honor and praise all those women who day after day give everything for their children. Particularly I am very attached to my mother because she has fulfilled the role of mother and father, supporting me at all times, as well as motivating me to grow as a person and to fight for my dreams.

Mi familia acostumbra a reunirse este día para compartir y celebrar a las madres. Aunque, por motivos de pandemia y por la situación de mi país que conllevó a que muchos familiares emigraran no podremos celebrar como años anteriores. Sin embargo, no podía dejar pasar por alto este bello momento y decidí hacerle varios obsequios a mi mamá.

My family usually gets together on this day to share and celebrate mothers. Although, due to the pandemic and the situation in my country that led many family members to emigrate, we will not be able to celebrate as in previous years. However, I could not let this beautiful moment pass by and I decided to give several gifts to my mom.

Para cumplir con el objetivo de hacer este día más especial, tuve varios cómplices que me ayudaron en todo el proceso. La verdad fue un poco difícil que mi mamá no se diera cuenta de toda la sorpresa, pero el resultado fue el esperado. Primero nos dividimos las tareas, mi hermanita fue la encarga de hacer uno de los arreglos. Ella estaba bastante motivada ya que le apasiona todo lo referente a las manualidades, dibujos y decoraciones.

To meet the goal of making this day more special, I had several accomplices who helped me throughout the process. The truth is that it was a little difficult for my mom not to notice the surprise, but the result was as expected. First we divided the tasks, my little sister was in charge of making one of the arrangements. She was very motivated since she is passionate about everything related to crafts, drawings and decorations.

Mientras estábamos preparando todo mi mamá estaba en casa de una prima que se ofreció a ser una pequeña distracción, en ese momento mi hermana y yo estábamos teniendo diferencias respecto al lugar y la manera en que se iban a ubicar los obsequios. Obviamente se impuso la autoridad y mi hermanita ganó nuestra pequeña disputa.

While we were preparing everything my mom was at a cousin's house who offered to be a little distraction, at that moment my sister and I were having differences regarding the place and the way the gifts were going to be placed. Obviously authority prevailed and my little sister won our little dispute.

Justo en el momento menos esperado, mi prima (la distracción) me llama para decirme que mi madre está en camino a casa, en ese momento mi hermana y yo tratamos de terminar rápido la sorpresa.

Just at the least expected moment, my cousin (the distraction) calls me to tell me that my mother is on her way home, at that moment my sister and I try to finish the surprise quickly.

Nuestra pequeña sorpresa tuvo mucho significado para mi hermana y para mí, ya que todos los días del año tratamos de hacerla un poco más feliz, de igual forma no está de más tener un bello detalle con muchísimo amor para nuestra Hermosa madre.

Our little surprise had a lot of meaning for my sister and me, since every day of the year we try to make her a little happier, but it is also important to have a beautiful detail with lots of love for our beautiful mother.

Me siento inmensamente feliz y agradecido con todos los que me apoyaron para obtener este resultado y compartirlo con todos ustedes, ver feliz a mi mamá es el mejor regalo que yo puedo recibir y sentir esa satisfacción me impulsa cada día a luchar más por mi mamá, mi abuela y poder dar así un buen ejemplo a mi hermana para que sea una gran persona.

I feel immensely happy and grateful to everyone who supported me to get this result and share it with all of you, to see my mom happy is the best gift I can receive and feeling that satisfaction drives me every day to fight more for my mom, my grandmother and to be able to give a good example to my sister so that she can be a great person.
