Estuve revisando algunas de mis gavetas de ropa y me encontré con estos pantalones blancos que por estar guardados tanto tiempo, se habían manchado un poco en las botas.
La verdad es que no soy fan de colocarme prendas de color blanco, estos pantalones me los había regalado una prima y de ahí la respuesta porque estuvieron guardados tanto tiempo.
Me hacían falta unos lindos shorts y pensé que una gran idea sería transformar este viejo pantalón en un lindo short, al que luego pienso personalizar con un poco de pintura, pero esto ya se los estaré mostrando en una próxima oportunidad.
Por los momentos les voy a mostrar como pasar de pantalones a short en pocos pasos y lograr un excelente resultado.

I was going through some of my clothes drawers and I found these white pants that from being stored for so long, had stained a little on the boots.
The truth is that I am not a fan of wearing white clothes, these pants had been given to me by a cousin and hence the answer because they were kept for so long.
I needed some nice shorts and I thought that a great idea would be to transform these old pants into a nice shorts, which I will later personalize with a little paint, but I will be showing them to you in a next opportunity.
For now I am going to show you how to go from pants to shorts in a few steps and achieve an excellent result.

1.- Lo primero que debes hacer es probarte los pantalones que quieres transformar y medir a que altura vas a querer los shorts.
2.- Vamos a trabajar sobre una mesa, estira tus pantalones y haz un doblez en ambas piernas donde vas a cortar.
1.- The first thing you should do is try on the pants you want to transform and measure how high you want the shorts.
2.- We are going to work on a table, stretch your pants and make a fold in both legs where you are going to cut.
Recuerda que debes dejar un excedente de tela para poder hacer el doblez de cada pierna del short.
3.- Una vez cortadas ambas piernas del pantalón es momento de hacer el doblez, yo lo he hecho dos veces de ambos lados para lograr un mejor acabado.
Lo que cortamos lo podemos reservar para crear otra manualidad.
Remember that you must leave a surplus of fabric to be able to fold each leg of the shorts.
3.- Once both legs of the pants have been cut, it is time to make the fold, I have done it twice on both sides to achieve a better finish.
What we cut we can reserve to create another craft.
4.- Ahora vamos a coser muy bien ambas piernas, con puntadas pequeñas y bien cerradas para que no se nos vaya a descoser.
Este proceso toma un poco de tiempo, pero es importante hacerlo bien prolijo para lograr un buen resultado.
4.- Now we are going to sew both legs very well, with small and well-closed stitches so that they do not come undone.
This process takes a little time, but it is important to do it neatly to achieve a good result.
Así quedaron los shorts ya terminados, puedes disfrutarlos o hacer como yo y personalizarlos un poco más.
En un próximo post, les estaré mostrando como los voy a pintar, ya que literalmente es un lienzo en blanco y a mi parecer le hace falta un poco de color.
