Hola comunidad de hive,hoy quiero contarles un poco sobre la falla sismologica que afecta a mi querido pueblo de crianza llamado el pilar, estado sucre, Venezuela.
Hello hive community, today I want to tell you a little bit about the seismic fault that affects my beloved breeding town called El Pilar, Sucre State, Venezuela.
Esta falla a causado numerosos movimientos telúricos generando pánico en esta pequeña población,es una de las más importantes fallas que se encuentran en América del sur ocupando el tercer lugar luego de Boconó y San Sebastián.
This fault has caused numerous telluric movements generating panic in this small town, it is one of the most important faults found in South America, occupying the third place after Boconó and San Sebastián.
El último terremoto por el cual se vio afectado mi pueblo del pilar, fue en el llamado terremoto de carico, el cual tuvo lugar el 09 de Julio de 1.997 con una magnitud de 6.9, dejando más de 70 muertos.
The last earthquake that affected my town of El Pilar was the so-called Carico earthquake, which took place on July 9, 1997 with a magnitude of 6.9, leaving more than 70 dead.

Tengo aún en mi mente grabado ese día, en el cual mis padres me sacaron de la casa junto a mi hermana y bajo los nervios se les olvidó mi último hermano que estaba dormido en una cuna, y yo comencé a llorar y a gritar "saquen a mi hermano" aún siguen intactos esos momentos como si hubiese Sido ayer.
I still have that day engraved in my mind, when my parents took me out of the house with my sister and under the nerves they forgot my last brother who was asleep in a crib, and I began to cry and scream "get my brother out" those moments are still intact as if it had been yesterday.
Aunque la población a recibido instrucciones de como intentar sobrevivir mediante un terremoto, pues nunca se está lo suficientemente preparado para estos fenómenos de nuestra madre naturaleza.
Esta falla constituye una de las más importantes a nivel mundial y pasa por debajo de el pueblo del pilar, llamada falla marítima y debido a que estamos rodeados del mar pacifico pues es sin duda una amenaza para nuestra población que vive constantemente las amenazas de estos movimientos naturales.
Although the population has received instructions on how to try to survive through an earthquake, they are never sufficiently prepared for these phenomena of our mother nature.
This fault is one of the most important worldwide and passes under the town of El Pilar, called maritime fault and because we are surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, it is undoubtedly a threat to our population that constantly lives the threats of these natural movements.
