Goat Meat Cooked By Me

I am happy to say that i am a good food chef but i have been left this work after marriage now this work is being take care by my wife. I was studying very far from my native place and there i was staying with some friends in rented home therefore started to learn cooking and learnt in few days. To give a proper round shape of bread was tough in starting days but now it is very easy for me. Our favorite dish was non-veg such as chicken or goat meat, egg and sometime fishes. I still love to cook and eat chicken and goat meat but due to lacks of time i don't involve in cooking. Due to lockdown now living most time in home hence one day decided to cook goat meat and i did that.

I went market around 7 a.m to buy goat meat and came home within half an hour after that washed goat meat properly. Perhaps my cooking technique may different than you but i follow this process always.

Process Starts :
1. I kept goat meat in a deep pot and mix turmeric powder, little bit salt, some raw onion pieces and raw mustard oil and left it for 20 minutes .

After mixing the above mentioned ingredients colour is almost yellow but after 20 minutes its colour gets change like as image below.

2. I use presser cooker to cook goat meat hence put it on gas stove flame and add at least 200 gms of raw mustard oil into presser cooker, after sometime add 200 gms small pieces of onion on hot oil and left it for 5 minutes with half flame of gas stove. When i saw that the colour of onion being changing from white to red then mixed spices (Black peppercorns, black cumin, cardamom, garlic, cumin, cinnamon) paste on it. Of-course salt and chilli powder was there as per required for taste.

3. After adding all spices with onion i fried them at least 10 to 15 minutes in 30% gas stove flame temperature and when colour got changed and onion gone invisible add goat meat on it and with full flame of stove. Once again flame of stove got down in 35% temperature and fried them continuously 20 minutes, all water of goat meat got dry and all spices got mixed with goat meat then add two three bay leaf and 300 ml water on it for solid gravy and packed the presser cooker tightly and kept stove flame at 30% temperature and wait for 3 whistle of presser cooker. Now its done and looks like as:

Meat quantity was 700 gms only and we were only three to eat it and finished in lunch with rice and boiled rice.
