A few days ago, I saw a woman on Instagram who easily made beautiful dishes with chalk and water and simple molds, and I decided to make some dishes too.
I went and bought a kilo of white chalk to make a mirror base.
I used a hair dye can for the mold.
I mixed water and flour together and poured it into the mold.
I had never worked with plaster before. It was interesting to me.
I added the plaster little by little to the water and stirred it.
I think it took more than 5 minutes because I thought there were lumps of plaster left in the water.
Happily, when I was sure that all the plaster had dissolved in the water, I poured the plaster and water into the mold.
Suddenly I was shocked.
In the blink of an eye, the plaster hardened.
After I poured the plaster into the mold, I wanted to make a groove on the mold to place the mirror.... but.... why did it dry so quickly in the blink of an eye.
