Big Brown Bear (Ink Drawing)

I'd like to share this pen drawing of a brown bear I made earlier today. I made this drawing to practice how to draw fur details in animals and the bear was just the perfect animal to try this out on.
Bears are one of the biggest land mammals. They are carnivores (feed mostly on fishes), have sharp teeth, claws and have large amount of furs on them.

I made this drawing using a black ball point pen and pelican paper.
Here are the steps involved;
I began by drawing the outline of the bear so I can get its shape right. Then I added it's facial features.

Next, I shaded all the dark parts of it's body to depict shadows and shades.

Finally, I worked on the tones and fur details on it's face and body for a realistic and more appealing look.

I shaded the ground it was working on and also kept on adding fur details until I got a satisfactory result.
