I went for a short drive recently as the rains slowed down. This location is a little hard to get to as there are multiple sections with steep gradients, complete dirt track that's broken by heavy rain and water gushing downhill for the final section that's actually fit for a 4x4 SUV adventure.
The final half-mile is not really suited for any 2 front-wheel driven sedan like mine that can suffer from underbody damage or damage to the side wall of the tyres or loss of grip uphill due to poor track conditions.
However, that wasn't going to stop me as I found a great line through the bad patches and navigated myself hoping no one comes downhill when I was driving up as there was nowhere to give space.
I managed to get up and back down before complete sundown without any damage to the car. While, I'm not new to trails and have done some off-roading in the past on proper 4x4s and a ton of trail rides on motorcycles, I'm generally careful about where I drive this car as its close to my heart!
However, I was extremely careful as it was close to sun down and not many people were around in case I were to get stuck.
Fortunately, it did not rain which if it did, would've probably gotten me stuck at one or two bad sections of the final approach to the top of the hill as the track would've gotten extremely slippery and my tyres are due for change and not very grippy on loose soil anymore.

It's relatively easy to get here on a motorcycle as many bikers come here regularly, especially on the weekends. But I badly needed a change of scenery so off I went.
Due to COVID-19 city has been adding over 400 cases on a regular basis. India has crossed over 6 million total cases.
I've been mostly home as the usual travel options are nearly gone now. I can't wait to do a proper road-trip or travel somewhere. I hope to do that soon!

So lately, I'm just looking for locations I went years ago or some new places to explore and just driving there in my car as I've sold my motorcycle and yet to upgrade to a new one. There's not a lot to do but its fun to go driving on my own away from the city.

What are you doing to pass time when you are not working and/or bored of being home all the time? Have you managed to travel anywhere yet?
Not yet - tired of being at home but the situation is getting worse day by day. Earlier the expectation was it will slow down by September but its very concerning situation now instead. Waiting for some more time.
I was also 'hoping' for the same very early into this situation but overtime it was clear this isn't going to slow down given the size of our population. We're going to get to number 1 spot before our numbers reduce or a vaccine is available which our government distributes to all which then might reduce the infection numbers quickly. Else this will take a long time!
