Our hometown was once so ordinary. It was a sleeping town with few establishments. When evening hit, all the locals stayed home, and only the naughty ones stayed awake late at night. Before, all the children would stay at home after 8 pm.
In terms of necessities, the families must buy during daylight since all the stores are closed at night because the owner of the store knows that the locals sleep early. So, if you forget to buy some necessary things, you need to wait for the morning to come. The good thing was the stores opened early in the morning.
Now that I’m an adult and responsible for my needs and my husband’s needs too, buying early in the morning is not for me. I hate waking up early. I cannot follow the lifestyle of adults before. I cannot sleep early too because when studying at college, I am an evening student. So, I always sleep late.
I think, my Lord understands my situation because I never thought that our hometown changed for the better, especially for a lazy person like me.
When my husband and I started moving out of our parent's house, the 24/7 store was built. It was very convenient for me because we usually went home almost evening time and sometimes, I forgot to buy some ingredients if I wanted to cook something.
The name of this 24/7 store is Food Trip Section where they sell necessities needed for a house. Most of the time, I bought some spices in this store.
Anyway, I was very thankful that this store is open 24/7.

What a relatable story, @fixyetbroken ! It’s inspiring to see how simple developments, like a 24/7 store, can make such a big difference in daily life.
you're absolutely correct, the average Filipino family before would not stay up so late at night. I still remember before that there's only one store that's still open at 8 in the evening and we only buy from them in the evening because of the extreme heat in the morning
Oh.. it's nice to know that you can still buy food until evening back no 24/7 stores around. 😊
The 24 hours seven eleven of our town Ma'am @fixyetbroken 😊
Their pancit and lechon belly taste good. 😊
Oh.. thanks for the idea ma'am.😊😊 I'll try to order it soon.😊😊
Our place it's 7/11. But only in the town proper or in the city.😁
