El día de hoy, llegó la navidad a casa, pues mi tía y yo nos dispusimos que ya estábamos tardando en decorar la casa, y por ello aprovechamos el día domingo para disponernos a bajar todos los adornos del closet, y también de ponernos a ver qué colores usaríamos, y qué teníamos para decorar.
Today, Christmas came home, because my aunt and I got ready that we were already taking time to decorate the house, and therefore we took advantage of Sunday to get ready to take down all the decorations from the closet, and also to see what colors would we use, and what did we have to decorate.
Ya luego de todo estar abajo, y de leer las cajas con las etiquetas, comenzamos a sacar lo que utilizaríamos, y organizando qué haríamos. Pues normalmente en casa hacemos el pesebre (nacimiento), y un arco; pues no solemos sacar el arbolito porque es demasiado pesado, y sólo somos dos en casa.
After all being downstairs, and reading the boxes with the labels, we began to take out what we would use, and organize what we would do. Well, normally at home we make the manger (birth), and a bow; Well, we don't usually take out the little tree because it's too heavy, and there are only two of us at home.
Mi tía normalmente está sola, pues yo no vivo con ella, pero vengo de ratos por mis responsabilidades, y me queda más sencillo acompañarla y así ahorrarme el pasaje. Y aprovechó que me quedaré con ella hasta el martes, para disponernos a decorar, y así también evitar riesgos, pues es una persona mayor.
My aunt is usually alone, since I do not live with her, but I come from time to time due to my responsibilities, and it is easier for me to accompany her and thus save the passage. And she took advantage of the fact that I will stay with her until Tuesday, to prepare ourselves to decorate, and thus also avoid risks, since she is an older person.
Primero terminamos el arco, al comienzo no íbamos a colocarle luces, sin embargo más de tarde decidimos que mejor sí, y se las terminamos colocando.
First we finished the arch, at the beginning we were not going to put lights on it, however later we decided that it would be better, and we ended up putting them on.
Luego venía lo más tedioso, al menos para mí, porque de verdad no sé hacer es el pesebre; porque sinceramente para mí eso es un largo proceso, pero toca aprender, porque en cualquier momento me toca a mí solita.
Then came the most tedious, at least for me, because I really don't know how to do it is the manger; because honestly for me that is a long process, but it is necessary to learn, because at any moment it is my turn.
Y así pasamos el proceso del armado, con el papel el cual lo armó realmente fue mi tía, yo le ayudaba a dar forma de montañas.
And so we went through the assembly process, with the paper that really put it together was my aunt, I helped her shape mountains.
Colocamos las luces entre azules, y blancas.
We put the lights between blue and white.
Fuimos colocando los adornos, y listo, también estaba ya el pesebre.
We were placing the decorations, and voila, the manger was also there.
Por último colocamos algunos adornos, e hicimos algunos para las mesas; y ya, terminamos algo tarde, porque luego recogimos, pero realmente ya sentimos el ambiente navideño en casa, y se siente bien abrir las puertas de nuestro hogar a una linda época, y que en nuestros corazones también se sienta esa felicidad, y paz.
Finally, we put some decorations, and we made some for the tables; And now, we finished a bit late, because then we picked up, but we really already felt the Christmas atmosphere at home, and it feels good to open the doors of our home to a beautiful time, and that happiness and peace can also be felt in our hearts.
Algo que me ha dejado esta pandemia es poder disfrutar con quienes están, porque este año la mesa se encuentra con menos integrantes, y por ello debemos buscar una sincera unión familiar, y amor entre nosotros, y para con los demás.
Something that this pandemic has left me is being able to enjoy with those who are, because this year the table is with fewer members, and therefore we must seek a sincere family union, and love among ourselves, and towards others.
