I was born and raised in a common Catholic family in Venezuela, from where i learned the vision of God as a man different from each one of us, however, when i became a teenager, i questioned it by going through a kind of transformation process in which I identified myself as an atheist. and then when i started my yoga practice and philosophy, i found a different way of seeing God, God as energy, God as light, which made me deeply rethink what i already knew in order to understand that God as man for me is in so much so that they reside in each of us as human beings. God man, God light, God energy, God life, you, me, any of us.
With the constant advancement in my practice and deep experimentation during each meditation, which has extended throughout my life, and by that i mean every moment, every moment, i have been able to understand a series of substantial questions to life, as i see them, which have undoubtedly contributed to the profound transformation of my being. Who can i say i was and who i am now.
Each of these questions is what I want to share with you today:
It happens that sometimes human nature conditioned by the mind leads us to pass judgment on everything we see about ourselves and others, what we hear, what we do, but the reality is that judgments are based only on what we We know, our experiences and beliefs enrich us with ideas and concepts but at the same time limit us to understand that the lives, actions and words of others can respond to a myriad of reasons that even escape our knowledge. That is why I have learned not to judge or avoid doing it as little as possible
I have learned not to judge by practicing with myself and starting by not judging myself, not judging myself when i don't know something because it is normal, not judging myself when i'm wrong because we all do it, not judging myself if I get angry, frustrated or sad. I have learned not to judge myself so as not to judge others, not to play their actions, not to judge their words, not to judge their actions but to understand them.
I have learned to love myself, love myself as i am because i'm perfect like that. i know they say that no one is perfect but i say the opposite, we are all perfect just as we are, because that is perfection, this is perfection, perfection is full of ups and downs, it is full of anger, anger, sadness , of bugs, that's perfection.
I have learned to love myself because if God resides in me, if within me and each one there is a part of God and God is perfect then I am perfect, and the call is to understand this. We spend time wanting to be otherwise than we are, that our hair looks different, that our eyes look another color, so we spend time wanting to tell God how it should look on ourselves. i have learned to love myself ...
I have learned to accept, accept the life, accept what i can change or modify at the moment, accept any situation of my life because there is a huge learning that we need. I've learned to accept and enjoy. I've learned to accept each person, to accept that nothing can force, that nothing can grow, that no one can oblige whoever desires to be algo or algae. Entonces is learning to accept…
I have learned to be compassionate, compassionate with what I don't understand, compassionate with whoever wants to hurt me or with whom i have ever felt hurt, i have understood that being compassionate does not mean allowing myself to be disrespected but understanding the reasons for the actions or words of the other. And so i have discovered that in compassion there is deep love, love because we know that every human being is here doing the best they can to be happy.
I have learned to live in the present, to live in the present from every activity that I carry out. This has been one of the most difficult tasks (from my point of view) but also the most enriching because it has led me to experience every minute and every second of myself, to constantly lose myself and find myself again, even at this moment as I write these words with a smile on my lips.
Living in the present is feeling myself, it's knowing myself constantly and in every situation. With this I have also learned that i am much more than I could ever imagine, i am that space that allows all the possibilities to coexist in the eyes, it's not limited, it doesn't stop, but it does feel deeply.
I have also learned about detachment, I have learned to commit myself and love with strength and without fear because I know that if the time comes to let go i will be able to do it, maybe not without pain, not without some sadness but with satisfaction and fullness. sure I did the best i could.
I have learned not to cling to anything or anyone, but i have also learned the deep value that not clinging teaches you, the deep respect that coexists within that word, because not clinging implies knowing that nothing and nobody belongs to us, it implies knowing that we are much more than the satisfaction that any situation, person or thing can offer us and that internally we are already complete.
I have learned to give thanks, to thank every moment because we are abundant, because we all have it and even constantly God continues to give us more, because we never lack anything, because we are life itself, full, fascinating.
And finally, especially i have learned to see hidden beauty where we suppose it doesn't exist. Beauty in every negative situation because she is telling us what we don't want from ourselves, she encourages us to be better, she teaches us that we are all trying, that we all want happiness and that happiness is there because God never leaves us. And yes, we read about this constantly, some more than others, but in life it is a continuous practice and experiencing it frees us, changes us, transforms us and fills us with love.
So i invite you, I invite you to experience it. If you like yoga and meditation or you are thinking of practicing it and you still do not dare, do it, take that first step because I assure you it will change your life. You will find a new perspective and daily inspiration to live and be happy, a calm and serene life.
