Ella es la paciente Melissa de 35 años de edad, quien fue traída a este centro hospitalario el día 26 de abril del presente año, al presentar dolor abdominal en horas de la mañana localizado en fosa iliaca derecha que irradia a hombro derecho, punzante de moderada intensidad que no atenúa con analgésicos,motivo por el cual es traída a este centro donde se valora y se decide su ingreso, su diagnóstico de ingreso es un embarazo ectópico, este se produce cuando el óvulo fecundado se implanta fuera del útero.

Ese día fue llevada de emergencia a mesa operatoria, yo tuve la dicha de asistir al médico de guardia por primera vez, para mí fue un gran orgullo, estaba super nerviosa, pero todo salió bien, al abrir la cavidad abdominal pudimos notar mucho líquido hemático libre en la cavidad.

Después de 7 días de hospitalización, en la herida del paciente se formó un absceso de pared que es una de las complicaciones más frecuentes en el postoperatorio, tuvimos que retirar la sutura y su herida paso de ser una herida quirúrgica de bordes afrontados a una herida quirúrgica abierta, la misma está ubicada en región media infraumbilical,tenía mucha salida de secreciones purulentas y un olor fétido.

Se le están realizando curas cada 12 horas y ha estado mejorando, de hecho, en las imágenes se puede visualizar su evolución.
