Good morning everyone,
This morning I want to share with us my recent creation. Its a cross male palm slippers handcrafted by me using a sole I also created. The process was fun and I really enjoyed every single process of it. The size of this palm slippers is 45/46 as requested by the customer. I also use some golden chain to beautify the palm slippers.
Below I'll be putting us through how I create the slippers.
Materials used.
- Nora
- Maco 4
- Leather of choice
- Gum
- Shoe glue
- Shoe chain
- Designed welt
PROCESS
- The first thing I did was to mark the size on the Nora and cut it out. I also marked a reduced size on the Maco and cut it out.
- Next I cut out the strap using 1.6inches width. After that I gummed it with the lining, tap it by the sides and sow the sides.
- Here I gummed the maco with fibre, filed the edges and capped it with a black leather.
- Next I applied gum on the middles and sides of the Nora, on the middles of the capped maco and at the back of the welt. Then I temporarily gummed the capped maco to the middle of the Nora. Once that was done, I gummed the welt to the sides of the Nora as seen below. After that, I removed the capped maco.
- Here I filled the heel part of the Nora and I gummed the heels to it. After that, I filed the edges of the welt Nora.
- Finally here, applied gum to the edges of the straps and woth the aid of my Last, I gummed the straps to the maco. After that I applied gum to the back of the maco and the welted Nora then I gummed them together.
Nice design. E remain my own.
Lol. Pay na
Beautiful.
Nice that it has a leather feel inside the soles. Most wears rather have soft-touch material which wears off with time.
Great work!
Thank you so much.
