RE: Joy is in the small things. We can weave magic out of the ordinary. What makes YOU happy? + An illustrated guide of some of my favourite things

One of the simplest things that makes me happy is when Brownie curls up on my pillow next to me at night and I can lay there and listen to her soft, little breathing. It never lasts very long because after a few minutes of listening to her I'm out like a light.

In the picture above of you reading, is that area in your house? Because that is amazing looking. I've always wanted a little nook in my home that was decorated somewhat like that. A place where I could go and really get lost in a book.

No, I wish, that is an older picture (I should look younger in that one) all the rest are more recent, but it was a manor in UK, cannot recall the name. I have s neat collection of books on my shelf. I love reading and fantasy fiction and folklore. So when I move to that tiny house I will have to make space for quite a few books. I particularly love illustrated versions.
On the other hand the first part of your comment made me almost teary-eyed as I can recall that feeling very well. It is curious how some things like not feeling and even the smell is encoded in our brains and can be recreated when we are half asleep. Thanks always for your insights and brightest blessings. I have had to follow you back for any reason I found that I have unfollowed many accounts without noticingg, I don't know if it's the little lag I get on my phone and my muppet fingers, but I have had to renew my following to several friends in the community.
