¡Hola a todos! en este post quiero contarles la vez que fui invitado a la radio por un ensayo que hice, yo en ese momento estaba cursando el ultimo año de la educación media, y una de las actividades de literatura era escribir un ensayo libre, yo lo redacté, y antes de entregarlo fui con mi amigo de confianza Enrique, quien es periodista del colegio, el se encontraba con un colega suyo que trabaja en una prestigiosa radio de Santiago, yo le leí el ensayo a ver que opinaban, y a ambos les gustó mucho, en ese momento el colega de mi amigo me hace la sorpresiva invitación de aparecer en su programa de la semana siguiente, donde justamente hablaría sobre educación, y bueno, ahí estaba yo muy sorprendido, pero no dudé en aceptar, son de esas oportunidades que no puedes dejar pasar.

In this post I want to tell you about the time I was invited to the radio for an essay I did, I was in my last year of high school, and one of the activities of literature was to write a free essay, I wrote it, and before handing it in I went with my trusted friend Enrique, who is a journalist at the school, he was with a colleague of his who works in a prestigious radio station in Santiago, I read the essay to see what they thought, and they both liked it very much, at that moment my friend's colleague made me the surprising invitation to appear on his program the following week, where he would talk about education, and well, there I was very surprised, but I didn't hesitate to accept, they are those opportunities that you can't pass up.

Perdida de valores en la sociedad

El mundo actual está lleno de problemas y la sociedad prefiere ignorarlos rotundamente lo cual me hace preguntarme ¿Cuánto más podremos soportar a este paso antes de que el mundo tal y como lo conocemos cambie sin vuelta atrás?
Los problemas del mundo cada día aumentan en cantidad y gravedad, la delincuencia, conflictos bélicos, abusos de todo tipo, derroche de recursos, contaminación, desastres naturales por el calentamiento global, etc.
Y todo tiene un resumen sencillo, la falta de valores.
La humanidad desde su origen que se aproxima a más de 300.000 años, se podría decir que fue apenas hace 100 años que empezó toda la revolución que nos llevó a tener el desarrollo tecnológico que tenemos hoy en día, pero, ¿De qué nos sirve cuando siempre atentamos contra nosotros mismos?
En 1932 se descubrió el potencial de la energía nuclear y tan solo 13 años después se uso en bombas que desataron una tragedia que dejaría a la humanidad para siempre, estos son los ataques estadounidenses sobre Hiroshima y Nagasaki con bombas atómicas. Tanto poder desperdiciado en muerte y destrucción, el mismo que serviría para mantener encendidas millones de lámparas por horas.
Esta falta de valores ha dejado como resultado la constante degradación social que vivimos, una sociedad que vive atrapada en la banalidad, personas que se preocupan porque no tienen un auto del año, o porque no han ido al estilista, sin pensar en lo afortunados que son, ya que, en otros lugares las personas viven en carne propia la miseria, necesidad y desesperación.
¿De qué nos sirve tener sistemas políticos y leyes tan estructuradas cuando los políticos hacen lo que quieren a costa de nosotros? La triste realidad es que cuando creemos tener el poder, somos simples títeres.
Con todo esto lo que quiero decir es que la humanidad terminará de evolucionar, llegará a su punto máximo de desarrollo y cesará la injusticia cuando comprendamos conceptos tan básicos como el respeto, solidaridad, empatía, tolerancia, en fin, valores que a todos nos enseñan desde muy pequeños y que lamentablemente a veces olvidamos en ciertos momentos de la vida, y que de no hacerlo haríamos la diferencia en el mundo; porque, ¿De qué nos sirve todo nuestro potencial si no lo usamos para el bien?

Today's world is full of problems and society prefers to ignore them outright which makes me wonder how much more we can take at this rate before the world as we know it changes without a turnaround?
The world's problems are increasing every day in quantity and severity, crime, warlike conflicts, abuses of all kinds, waste of resources, pollution, natural disasters due to global warming, etc. And everything has a simple summary, the lack of values.
Humanity from its origin that approaches more than 300,000 years, we could say that it was only 100 years ago that began the whole revolution that led us to have the technological development that we have today, but what good is it when we always attempt against ourselves?

What is the point of having political systems and laws that are so structured when politicians do what they want at our expense? The sad reality is that when we think we have power, we are just puppets.
With all this, what I mean is that humanity will finish evolving, will reach its maximum development point and injustice will cease when we understand such basic concepts as respect, solidarity, empathy, tolerance, in short, values that we are all taught from a very young age and that unfortunately we sometimes forget at certain moments in life, and if we do not do so, we will make a difference in the world; because, what good is all our potential if we do not use it for good?

Esta historia nos deja como moraleja que debemos confiar en nuestro talento, lo que parecía un simple ensayo escolar terminó siendo un discurso que escucharon miles de personas.
