Investing Apps - The World at your Fingertips

in GEMS3 years ago (edited)

This is a brief overview of the investing apps I currently use, in no particular order. Check them out and do some research, let me know in the comments if you have some different apps that you use or just what your experience with investing apps has been like. Some of these apps are only available to residents of certain countries.

1. Superhero

SH.PNG

Superhero is a great little app to get into share trading etf's and stock on the Australian and US markets. Minimum $100 trade, $5 brokerage (ETF buys are free), good tools to keep track of your gains and losses. Fast affordable and easy to use.

2. Sharesies

share.PNG

Sharesies is very similar to superhero, but it has no minimum trade, so great to get started, but just check the fees. I don't use this one a lot, but I have an investment on there.

3. Spaceship

spc.PNG

Now this is a great little app, it has a few index funds to choose from with a broad range of investments, start for as little as a dollar. You can auto invest with a $5 minimum. They have a referral program to earn $10 for each person you sign up. I made about 30% gains using this app, it's just too easy. It used to be fee free up to a $5000 balance, then they dropped it down to $100 and now there is a $2.50 monthly fee for balances over $100. I don't use this as much anymore, but I keep an eye on it.

4. Self Wealth

SW.PNG

This one rivals the big players, with only $10 per trade. You are buying full shares with this one. I use it to invest in stocks and IPO's, when investing over $500. It has great tools. Pretty good alternative to the major brokers and banks.

5. Youhodler

YH.PNG

I love Youhodler, it's my favourite app for HODLing (is that a word..?) There are alot of currencies to choose from and the app is east to use and perfect for trading, mostly with low fees now (just check your options there) It's free to withdraw Bitcoin and you can earn interest on every coin you hodl which varies depending on the coin (up to 12.3%)

6. BlockFi

BF.PNG

BlockFi is similar to Youhodler, only they have withdrawl limits of one free per month, then you have to pay. The interest rates have dropped recently, so I don't use it as much anymore, but overall still a great option. I back it 100%.

7. Crypto.Com

CDC.PNG

Crypto.Com is something special. They have there own native token (CRO) a worthy investment. You can buy and trade all sorts of crypto currency and even stake it for interest (minimum limits apply). Just be careful when trading as some spreads are horrendous. But because I stake CRO I get free Spotify every month and a Crypto Visa card with 2% crypto back. All in all it is easy to use and lovely to look at. You have to get some CRO while it's still cheap...

8. Binance

Bi.PNG

Big name crypto player here, third biggest crypto by market cap (not inc. stablecoins). It is a dominant business with a lot of trading and staking options, with a wide, wide, wide range of currencies. It is fast, affordable and down right spectacular. I use it all the time so check it out.

9. Invictus Capital

IC.PNG

Truly a global contender to keep your eye on. This crew offers Crypto index funds like C10, C20 and others. Plenty of onramp options (I use Binance) but its on Ethereum network so don't plan on withdrawing all the time the fees will kill you. I use this as a long term invest strategy (10 years+) it's like the S&P 500 of crypto.... just buy the lot!

10. Crypto.Com Defi

Defi.PNG

So Crypto.Com have branched out into there own Defi wallet, So many options on here, just watch out for the ETH fees again here. I transfer CRO from the Crypto.Com app to here (fee free) and stake the CRO in the Earn section, getting around 13% APY and you can transfer the CRO out for free back to the main Crypto.com app. Be aware it is locked in and takes 28 days to recover... have fun.

11. Lobster

Lob.PNG

This is a funny little app where you can get a lot of alternative cryptos, it runs on the Stellar network. Look its not the best app but it has it's place. I hold a few dying cryptos in there, don't use it really.

12. Coinbase

CB.PNG

Another big name crypto player, I did a few trades here but it just doesn't have all the features I like in the other apps. It's best function is the Learn and Earn section, where they teach you about a crypto and then give you a quiz, if you pass they send that crypto to your wallet for free. It's awesome I have made some good dollars doing this and just HODL. Overall its trustworthy and suits a lot of people.

13. Wirex

Wrx.PNG

Wirex is different, but they have gotten a lot better of late. They have upgraded their wallet and offer like a crypto travel card, which costs $$ to post to you if you live outside the US (Trust Me.. they say free but it's not). I don't really use this app much, however recently I put some funds in to stake at 16% APY (Paid in their native Wirex Token) as a long term HODL. See where this goes in the future, just keep an eye on it.

That's it for now. Enjoy checking them all out!
