So, if you're the type of person that's trying to move mountains in your day, you cannot get caught up in the pebbles of life. The details are always going to be there but I can tell you that if you get too focused on them you're going to slow yourself down.
Big picture thinking is where it's at, and I'm here to show you how you can think about problems this way. I'm the type of person that walks around life thinking that I can do it all. I want to play guitar, I want to be an artist, I want to learn how to sing better, I want to be able to cook, anything that I see on TV that looks fun and exciting I want to do, and I can tell you that that's great and all but how do you get to these things but also be able to lead a balanced life ?.
if you have a goal in life for example you want to become a physicist. How were you going to become a physicist?, how do you envision yourself 30 years from today ?. You actually probably probably want to see yourself as a senior physicist and work your way backwards, and figure out all the steps that it took for you to get to that one goal.
Working Backward, Productively.
This is basically like starting at the top of the mountain and working backwards. If you know every step you took to get to the top of the mountain ahead of time, you would actually be able to solve your problem. how much easier is it for you to work backwards down the mountain versus climbing the unknown path up the mountain ?.
So, put that into perspective, if you take all of your problems and work through them that way you will actually solve your problems faster and become more productive.
Become a Big Picture Thinker
Here are three tips that you can use right now to become a big picture thinker and solve your problems Productively.
Tip number one. When you know what your goal is then start backwards from there.
For example if your goal in life is to make lots of money then whatever you're doing in your
business should be oriented around making money, but the opposite of that is if your goal in life is to have a job that's just going to be fulfilling, and you're going to love what you do. You need to focus on what makes you happy, and work backwards from there.
Tip number two, if you find yourself getting lost in the details. Stop and refocus.
What I'm saying here is monitor yourself, if you're trying to solve a problem, and you keep getting lost in details, and you can't find where your folders are at, you don't know where you put that file. Stop what you're doing and refocus. Go back to step number one what is my goal here.
Step number three or advice number three, you can take it however you want. Don't have too many goals meaning focus yourself on one goal at a time and work in a linear fashion.
If you're trying to multitask life you're going to find yourself not getting things done, if you're working backwards through problems, and you have too many goals, and problems to solve you're going to get tangled. So, prioritize your goals and work through them one by one versus multitasking.

Wonderful piece you've written
Being focused and determined on your goal will ensure that you are able to achieve them...
Although, in terms of multi-tasking, I think it is relative to some people... I multitask a lot... and although it is really difficult and stressful, I achieve so many goals at the same time, such that I wonder if I am really the one that did it.
Lovely piece
