I have been thinking and understanding about decentralization of content sharing or monetary system since I have been introduced to the cryptocurrency.
We think it's just we are free or have freedom to express ourselves..although it's true, it can change how we take decisions, our perspectives and interaction with society.
Censorship is needed for content which can identify what type of the content it is and to which age group can access it but it should not ban the voices which are questioning or rising against the establishments.
With out decentralization, the authority of the platform can always control what type of content sharing and it make sure the users tune in to it's benefits and step on throats which revealing truth about it. These centralized entities absolutely doing the same with smiling faces and hiding their activities in dark.
We witnessed our social media platforms turned themselves in to propaganda places to make people believe in certain politicians, leaders during elections or before any scheme they want to introduce to the public. These centralized mediums work under government rules and really make their mediums compatible to government's interests. They even pay individuals to propagate the same thing to the people like it's their own opinion which is original and not any propagation.
They literally censor everything which against their narratives and make people completely lose their ability to look in to the same things in different perspectives and sadly it is happening aggressively and to the large masses who daily invest their time on these platforms. Also I even don't start saying about how these people selling our data to the businesses to lure public.
It's like you are only treated by them nice until you don't go away from their hands or follows every inch and bit. When started raising questions or posting the other side of the scenario they will either remove your access to post or completely ban your account.
We know how banks gone bankrupt by giving loans to false industries and burned the people's money. They just gone to vanish without even answering some times. The ultimate victims are people who believed the money they use is safe , standard can't lose their value or manipulated by banks & governments. That's bitcoin or any cryptocurrency is coming out as solution where people can determine the value and nothing can control it but buying or selling of individuals.
For example, In India one of the major banks is facing approximately 1590 million dollars bad loans which given to business industrialists under pressurized circumstances by government. To compensate this losses, they introduced a rule that public should maintain minimum balances in their accounts other wise they will be fined. Guess how much they looted from the poor or who unable to maintain the balance. Being an government institution they have betrayed the trust of public and done wrong thing to cover their mistakes.
So decentralization gives power back to the people on whom these institutions are dependent to run. Its like they can't silence people when people want to question or bring some thing in to lime light which may reveal the corruption or manipulations these establishments doing to general public.
Although we are still in the beginning of the revolution, being on hive makes me happy that I got this opportunity early as possible to enjoy the freedom of expressions and create content which don't need to obey any rules. This is what directs us to get information with all perspectives.
imagine how beneficial this platform for journalists who truly want to show the truth to the world with out succumb to pressure of their organisation or government. They can be independent and share the news with out turn in to manipulate the pubic. They can make people aware of the issues which may never come out because of establishments.

As internet becoming more and more part of our life even how much we avoid it, how can we put in to the hands of powerful and make them to dictate us or even blind to the other side of the issues. The revolutions or protests in coming time clearly use internet as their stage to gather more public to support and politicians to gather support to win elections. Brands to make people feel they are loser if they own the products of them. Imagine you know a truth about some thing which may change the society's actions but you can't let it out because fear of life or it may effect your career opportunities.
The time has already came, we witnessed how previous platform of our was hijacked and centralised, censoring every thing. If we don't create awareness about the benefits of decentralization and platforms already giving this opportunity to the people it takes more time to realise for them how much they got manipulated and more they got stuck in centralized system.
