It was still Jansen's birthday week, as in one day after his birthday. Since he and big brother, Jayden did mention before that they were interested to go playland at a mall call Melawati Mall, off we went, as our presents for the boys.
This happened on 4th July, as this time I an documenting this, this playland had been closed permanently. They closed and put up notice on that day itself - 29th July.
To Kidz Zone Playland
This playland was really beautiful. It was sea-theme based, I love the blue colour, made you feel calm and warmth feeling. The main looked like this.
Registration
Once reached, we needed to register by filling up forms, followed by paying, then each of us would be given a tag on my wrist.
The price for each child was Ringgit Malaysia RM22, adults got to enter for free. We chose the session from 4:30-6:30pm. One of the many things I love about this place was they had their sanitising time too. I felt safer.
Some rules
Socks were required for both adults and children. And mask must be worn at all times.
Let's go in!
Overlooking from the shoe place once we entered by scanning the wrist tag, I could tell this kidz zone was huge and spacious.
On my right was a cafeteria. It was opened but I wasn't sure why they didn't switch on the light. Perhaps for saving electricity since business was not good. Most parents were more careful and preferred outdoor park than indoor playland.
On my left was huge areas of chairs and tables for events, birthday celebrations. It used to be very good business before Covid19 and price was more expensive. Now, it was all empty.
As usual, I loved to scan the ceiling so not to miss out some beauty of a place.
Going into the playland
We were greeted by this shark. Haha. As though it was grinning saying "Are you ready?" Lol
Entering via this shark area was the zone for toddlers and younger children. Everything was more gentle, the slide was lower too.
Jansen said he wanted to try the milder one first before following big brother to the other side.
Another side of the playland
This side was more for older kids or adventurous kids.
Let's enter via the netting entrance.
Wahhhh!!!
Most children loved this area with small balls all around. They loved to play with this ball floating area, and of course to climb up to the shooting zone. The boys actually made friends with othet kids and started to shoot each other. So fun!
Just nearby this zone there was a balancing hanging bridge for the children as well as a small entrance to the basketball area.
Time to explore some other parts. They were areas for you to climb up and down, going left and right, sort of like a maze to enter another section.
Jansen spotted this penguin.
Some rules and regulations which was sticked on for us to be reminded.
Going up via this soft staircase.
And and reached the long side, kind of like sea waves.
Initially, Jansen dared not try, so I got to sit with him for 3 times. Unleashing the child in me yuhoo!!
But after awhile, he tried and could do it on his own.
Another side of the maze with this pole walking balancing.
Me looking up again.
And this soft rocking log.
Then we reached the bouncing area. Maximum weight was 60kg so I didn't enter.
Walking around again. Some areas are darker due to the maze-like built up.
After one hour exploring, they started to play hide and seeks with their cousins.
I was already exhausted, haha. So I sat down on seats provided at the balls shooting area.
Another one more hour to go, by now the kids were able to explore more without getting lost. They continued non-stop from shooting to hiding to sliding, so much energy while the adults were feeling out of energy. Haha.
The men went out to the cafeteria because big brains talked big things.
Finally, 6:30pm.
Two hours had passed, we told them it was time to go. They ended at the sea wave long slide and said bye bye. Little did we know it was the last goodbye because this playland was permanently closed on 29th July. Good bye Kidz Zone Playland.
The boys had a blast and very happy. The mothers who followed the children around were exhausted. It was a great time nonetheless. We ended up at Burger King at the mall for dinner. What a day of superb memory!
