I thought that taboo on tattoos had been forgotten over time.
I thought people were changing their minds.
They call me a thief or a drug addict just for showing them off.
My family is ashamed of me.
But even though everything around me tries to make me feel bad.
I feel comfortable with the way I am.
I don't have tattoos because I want to be a gangster or to look tougher.
I believe that they are marks to remind me of the events
I love my body and I'm comfortable with it.
Tengo tatuajes, todos me observan extraño.
Creí que ese tabú de los tatuajes ya se había olvidado con el tiempo.
Pensé que la gente se estaban cambiando su mentalidad.
Me tildan de ladrón o drogadicto solo por lucirlos.
Mi familia se avergüenza de mi.
Pero, a pesar de que todo lo que me rodea intente hacerme sentir mal.
Yo me siento cómodo por como soy.
No tengo tatuajes porque quiero ser pandillero o para verme más rudo.
Tengo la creencia de que son marcas para recordar sucesos que he vivido.
Amo mi cuerpo y estoy cómodo con el.
