Hello everyone🌸, today I want to show you my small collection of stones and crystals, it has been growing for several years, although right now is when I enjoy collecting them the most.
Stones have been an object of interest since ancient cultures, due to their properties, their brightness and also for their ornamental use. This is why today they are still collectible and often used to improve the vibration of our homes and our energy body.
Btw, I'll be using terms like crystals, gems or stones, for me they all are the same, all are minerals, but don't take it literally, they do have a difference between each one that chemistry can explain better than me.
Hola a todos🌸, hoy quiero mostrarte mi pequeña colección de piedras y cristales, ha ido creciendo a lo largo de varios años aunque justo ahora es cuando disfruto más de coleccionarlos.
Las piedras han sido un objeto de interés desde las antiguas culturas, por sus propiedades, su brillo y también por el uso ornamental. Es por esto que hoy siguen siendo coleccionables y a menudo usados para mejorar la vibración de nuestros hogares y nuestro cuerpo energético.
Por cierto, usaré términos como cristales, gemas o piedras, para mí todos son iguales, todos son minerales, pero no lo tomes literalmente, sí tienen una diferencia entre cada uno que la química puede explícate mejor que yo.
It is important to know that all crystals are powerful, believe it or not, like everything in this world, they contain a vibration precisely because they have been formed for years under the earth, each one has a special charge. With this I do not mean that it is an object that will grant you wishes or make you lose weight magically, but surely a rose quartz will help you connect with calm or a carnelian will make you have more confidence in yourself.
Something curious that is said is that when a crystal or stone catches our attention it is because we are in need of their help. For example, if you walk into a crystal store and immediately feel attracted to a citrine quartz, surely you need to connect more with your material security and finances. This is interesting and almost always true.
Es importante saber que todos los cristales son poderosos, lo creas o no, como todo en este mundo, contienen una vibración porque precisamente se han formado durante años bajo la tierra tienen una carga especial cada uno. Con esto no quiero decir que sea un objeto que te concederá deseos o te hará adelgazar mágicamente, pero si que seguramente un cuarzo rosado te ayudará a conectar con la calma o una cornalina te hará tener más confianza en ti.
Algo curioso que se dice es que cuando un cristal o piedra llama nuestra atención es porque estamos necesitando de su ayuda. Por ejemplo, si entras a una tienda de cristales y de inmediato te sientes atraído por un cuarzo citrino seguramente estás necesitando conectar más con tu seguridad material y tus finanzas. Esto es interesante y casi siempre es acertado.
All stones and crystals have certain care, some are easier to care for, others not so much, there are even some that are toxic, so you have to be careful when buying them and know exactly what you have in your hands. In the same way, energetically there are much denser crystals with which you have to be careful, anyway, if you are interested in knowing more about them you can read a book, I recommend one called The Bible of Crystals by Judy Hall, from there I have learned a lot.
There are also crystal counterfeiters, who claim to sell authentic crystals or gems, to know when one is fake, it is enough to see if it has bubbles inside or test if it burns with fire. A stone that is often forged is the so-called moonstone, I leave you a reference photo so you know what a real one and a fake look like:
Todas las piedras y cristales tienen ciertos cuidados, unos son más fáciles de cuidar, otros no tanto, hay incluso algunos tóxicos por lo que hay que tener precaución a la hora de comprarlos y saber exactamente lo que tienes entre manos. De igual forma, energéticamente hay cristales mucho más densos con los que hay que tener cuidado, de todas formas, si te interesa saber más de ellos puedes leer algún libro, yo te recomiendo uno llamado La Biblia de los Cristales de Judy Hall, de allí he aprendido mucho.
También existen falsificadores de cristales, quienes aseguran vender cristales o gemas auténticas, para saber cuando uno es falso basta con ver si tiene burbujas en su interior o probar si se quema con el fuego. Una piedra que se falsifica mucho es la llamada piedra lunar, te dejo foto de referencia para que sepas cómo luce una real y una falsificación:

Clear Quarz / Cuarzo blanco

This quartz was given to me when I was 16 years old, since then it has been with me and I have taken great care of it. It is said that clear quartz is the "most powerful" crystal because being transparent it contains all the colors in itself, that's why it also contains all the properties. I use it for energetic cleansing, to connect with mental clarity and harmonize when I feel bad.
Este cuarzo me lo regalaron cuando tenía 16 años, desde entonces ha estado conmigo y lo he cuidado mucho. Se dice que el cuarzo blanco es el cristal ''más poderoso'' porque al ser blanco o transparente contiene todos los colores en sí mismo, por eso también contiene todas las propiedades. Yo lo uso para limpiezas energéticas, para conectar con la claridad mental y armonizar cuando me siento mal.
Rose Quarz / Cuarso rosa
I have several rose quartz in different sizes and shapes, the one in the shape of an egg and the smallest were gifts from my mom, the one in the shape of a heart was a gift that came with some oracle cards that I bought last year and the other I bought it. Pink quartz is ideal for connecting with love, in fact it is said to be the stone of love and that all negative energies are transformed and purified into love. I use it to sleep, for when I need to trust myself more and connect with self-love.
Tengo varios cuarzos rosados en diferentes tamaños y formas, el que tiene forma de huevo y el más chiquito fueron regalos de mi mamá, el que tiene forma de corazón fue un regalo que vino con unas cartas de oráculo que compré el año pasado y el otro lo compré yo. El cuarzo rosado es ideal para conectar con el amor, de hecho se dice que es la piedra del amor y que todas las energías negativas las transforma y purifica en amor. Yo la uso para dormir, para cuando necesito confiar más en mi y conectar con el amor propio.
Amethyst / Amatista
These two beautiful amethysts as you can see are different presentations, the one on the left side is polished and the one on the right side is smaller and raw. I bought both of them, the smaller one used to be part of a necklace whose metal deteriorated over the years so I recovered the crystal. Amethysts are said to be the stone of spirituality, protection and intuition, it absorbs negative energies and when that happens its purple color fades. I use it to connect with my intuition, to protect myself and to be able to better connect with my dreams when I sleep and remember them the next day.
Estas dos hermosas amatistas como pueden ver son diferentes presentaciones, la del lado izquierdo está pulida y la del lado derecho es más pequeña y está cruda. Ambas las compré yo, la más pequeña solía ser parte de un collar que por los años su metal se deterioró así que recuperé el cristal. Las amatistas se dicen que son la piedra de la espiritualidad, la protección y la intuición, esta absorbe las energías negativas y cuando eso sucede se opaca su color morado. Yo la utilizo para conectar con mi intuición, para protegerme y para poder conectar mejor con mis sueños cuando duermo y recordarlos al día siguiente.

I bought this beautiful Jade when I was in college, it was part of a necklace that also deteriorated over time, in fact my first gems were all part of necklaces. Jade is a symbol of purity, wisdom, tranquility and good luck, in fact that is why it is so famous in the statues and amulets of different Asian cultures. I use it to connect with calm and stay focused.
Esta hermosa Jade la compré cuando estaba en la universidad, era parte de un collar que también se deterioró con el tiempo, de hecho mis primeras gemas todas eran parte de collares. El Jade es símbolo de pureza, sabiduría, tranquilidad y buena suerte, de hecho por eso es tan famosa en las estatuas y amuletos de diferentes culturas asiáticas. Yo la uso para conectar con la calma y mantenerme enfocada.
Pink Agate / Ágata rosa

This little agate was also part of a necklace, when I bought it I just thought it was very striking and vibrant, that's the energy I feel when wearing it. Agate is a stone that is formed in different colors, each one is associated with different properties due to its composition, to identify an agate you only have to look at the pattern lines that it forms of the same color in different shades. This gem in general is said to bring balance.
Esta pequeña ágata también era parte de un collar, cuando la compré solo pensaba que era muy llamativa y vibrante, esa es la energía que siento al usarla. La ágata es una piedra que se forma de diferentes colores, cada uno se le asocia con diferentes propiedades por su composición, para identificar una ágata solo tienes que mirar las lineas patrones que forma del mismo color en diferentes tonos. Se dice que esta gema en genera aporta equilibrio.
Calcite / Calcita
These two calcites were a gift from a stranger who sells crystals on the street, both were collected the same day, for some reason that person wanted me to have them and gave them to me. Calcite has a yellowish color in the sun or sometimes it turns like candy, it is said that it cleans spaces and in fact since it is at home I use it for that, to keep my space in harmony.
Estas dos calcitas fueron regalo de un desconocido que vende cristales en la calle, ambas fueron recolectadas el mismo día, por alguna razón esa persona quiso que las tuviera y me las dió. La calcita tiene un color amarillento al sol o a veces se torna como caramelo, se dice que limpia los espacios y de hecho desde que está en casa la uso para eso, para mantener mi espacio en armonía.
Star Stone / Lluvia de estrellas
Actually this gem is a human creation, I'm not sure if it really has any property but it is very striking, in the sunlight many sparkles are seen as if it were a contained galaxy. Supposedly it is used to find employment (I very much doubt that he has a property and there are people, especially sellers who insure properties) and we cannot find it in any natural stone book for the reason mentioned above.
En realidad esta gema es una creación humana, no estoy segura de si realmente tiene alguna propiedad pero es muy llamativa, a la luz del sol se ven muchos destellos como si fuera una galaxia contenida. Supuestamente se usa para encontrar empleo (dudo mucho que tenga una propiedad repito) y no la podemos encontrar en algún libro de piedras naturales por la razón antes comentada.
Citrine / Citrino
The only presentation that I have of this stone is in my pendulum, this was a gift that I gave myself when I wanted to buy a pendulum to learn how to use it. Citrine is said to be an energy purifier and also helps to connect with material abundance and balance the physical body. I use this pendulum to clear spaces and my tarot cards.
La única presentación que tengo de esta piedra es en mi péndulo, este fue un regalo que me hice a mi misma cuando quería comprar un péndulo para aprender a usarlo. Se dice que el citrino es un purificador de energía y además ayuda a conectar con la abundancia material y equilibrar el cuerpo físico. Yo uso este péndulo para limpiar los espacios y mis cartas de tarot.
Black Tourmaline / Turmalina Negra
This is a black mineral and is usually found in its raw, rustic state, usually forming a pattern of vertical stripes, but it is also sold polished. It is said that this stone is one of the best energy protectors, it absorbs all the negative and contains it in itself until we clean it, this is one of those stones that cannot be cleaned with water, in fact it must be buried to be able to clean up I always use it to clear my space and my aura when I feel charged with negativity.
Este es un mineral negro y normalmente se consigue en su estado crudo rústico, suele formarse con un patrón de rayas verticales, pero también la venden pulida. Se dice que esta piedra es una de las mejores protectoras de energías, absorbe todo lo negativo y lo contiene en si misma hasta que la limpiemos, esta es una de esas piedras que no se puede limpiar con agua, en realidad debe ser enterrada para poder limpiarse. Yo la uso siempre para limpiar mi espacio y mi aura cuando me siento cargada de negatividad.
Lapis Lazuli / Lapislázuli
This pendant in the form of a pendulum was a recent gift, it contains a small lapis lazuli, I really liked the spots it has, they are like gold and yellow. This gem is said to connect with the third eye, spirituality and personal power. I use it when I feel like I need to feel safe, for some reason it gives me that feeling of safety on a physical level, safe in the things I do or in the clothes I wear.
Este dije en forma de péndulo fue un regalo reciente, contiene una pequeña lapislázuli, me gustó muho las manchas que tiene, son como doradas y amarillas. Se dice que esta gema conecta con el tercer ojo, la espiritualidad y el poder personal. Yo la uso cuando siento que necesito sentirme segura, por alguna razón me da esa sensación de seguridad en un nivel físico, segura de las cosas que hago o con la ropa que uso.
Carnelian / Cornalina
This is one of my latest acquisitions, I had been wanting a carnelian for some time because in recent times I have felt more connected with my personal power and my confidence, so I wanted a stone that helps me enhance this energy. Carnelian is said to be revitalizing, motivating and stimulating creativity as well as self-confidence.
Esta es una de mis últimas adquisiciones, tenía tiempo queriendo una cornalina porque estos últimos tiempos me he sentido más conectada con mi poder personal y mi confianza, así que quería una piedra que me ayude a potenciar esta energía. Se dice que la cornalina es revitalizadora, motiva y estimula la creatividad al mismo tiempo que la auto-confianza.
Tiger's Eye / Ojo de tigre
I also bought this recently, I was simply attracted by its lines and I bought it without knowing too much. After doing a little research I learned that the tiger's eye is a stone that connects with solar energy and the earth, it helps to carry out plans and projects, so it was a win for me.
Esta también la compré recientemente, simplemente me sentí atraída por sus líneas y la compré sin saber demasiado. Luego de investigar un poco supe que el ojo de tigre es una piedra que conecta con la energía solar y la tierra, ayuda a concretar planes y proyectos, así que fue un acierto para mi.
Other common stones / otras piedras comunes
All these stones that are also in my collection do not necessarily have a known property like the ones mentioned above, they have been mostly gifts from the universe to me. Sometimes I'm walking and I come across one that catches my attention too much so I take it. They have also been gifts from friends and family.
Among the stones that you see in this last image there are a couple of stones that I collected, one of those is like a personal amulet and my stone of gratitude, I just take it in my hands and remind myself of everything for which I am grateful. The two that are in the middle were given to me by an aunt in a big bag, these are the ones I chose to keep in my collection and the others I used to decorate plants. The last and smallest on the right side is a stone from the sea, it was given to me by my best friend and I have it as a precious object.
Todas estas piedras que también están en mi colección no tienen necesariamente una propiedad conocida como las antes mencionadas, han sido en su mayoría regalos del universo para mi. A veces voy caminando y me topo con una que llama demasiado mi atención entonces la tomo. También han sido regalos de amigos y familiares.
Entre las piedras que ven en esta última imágen hay un par de piedras que recogí yo, una de esas es como un amuleto personal y mi piedra de agradecimiento, solo la tomo entre mis manos y me recuerdo todo por lo que estoy agradecida. Las dos que están en el medio me las regaló una tía en una gran bolsa, estas son las que elegí para guardar en mi colección y las otras las usé para decorar plantas. La última y más pequeña del lado derecho es una piedra del mar, me la regaló mi mejor amigo y la tengo como objeto preciado.
