Hi, dear Hivers
After having a great time at Balneário do Pitiú at São João de Pirabas, we headed towards another coastal area: Salinopolis.
I have noticed that Brazil has quite a few cities that end in "polis". Some of them are actually listed among the biggest in the world (the two biggest being Napoli, It and Indianapolis, USA).
Salinopolis is listed 23 (according to some sources) in the list of cities whose names end in "polis". It's a typical South American beach town.
We arrived at about 3 pm, just in time check-in.
This is the lobby of the Resort. A rather cold decoration (considering we are in Brazil), but the treatment was very warm.
The map of the Resort. It's not very big, but it has everything one may need.
Roomy cushions
Very neat apartment: nothing fancy, but big enough for 7.

We did not get the view to the pool, but we would definitely use the pool. We dropped our bags and headed for the pool right away.
Here with my in-laws
We had a great time at the pool. Maybe we were a big too big for the rafts and slide, but I did have my share of water wars.
Sanack by the pool. Delicious cheese and ham sandwich with café con leche
