One day, when my close friend's birthday was approaching, I decided to do something special for her. I knew that she loved dogs, and I came up with the idea to create a knitted dog for her. I had never done this kind of thing before, but the inspiration and the desire to please my friend made me give it a try.
I started looking for a suitable material and settled on a soft and flexible six. Then I bought six different colors to make the doggy colorful and interesting.
What is dry felting?
Dry felting, also known as "wool dry felting", is a technique for processing wool fibers to make felt products. In this method, wool is processed without the use of water, unlike traditional felting, which involves wet processing. Dry felting is done with a pointed needle that pierces and interlocks the wool fibers to create a dense felt-like material. This method allows you to create various products such as hats, bags, toys and decorative items.
