Well, I don't know where to start with the tales of my experience today but first I feel the urge to apologise for posting and deleting my "introduction post " severally. I'm really sorry for doing that, I was really confused and that was the result. I hope I have been forgiven?
I would have posted earlier today but still recovering from the confusion and how busy my day was I just had to retreat.....
Well today(yesterday) is the last day for the lockdown that was relaxed in Nigeria as we would be observing a dusk-to-dawn curfew from tomorrow (7th May) so as expected there was this dying minute rush to stock up for the long days of self isolation.
It was really tiring for me as I had to go to the market which was overly crowded with people- some with their faces half covered with mask, some without any protection, some screaming at people to draw attention to their goods....it was really amazing to see different people with a common goal - TO SURVIVE THIS PANDEMIC!
After the whole incident I got home to rest but then a call jolted me up again, this time from a customer!
"I want to rest, I'm really exhausted, let me take a nap but no customer's satisfaction is my Brand's top priority" so up I go !
Dragging myself up I started with the demands of my customer - a wig and it's almost done! Beautiful right?
It's 01:52 Nigeria time and I'm up pressing my keyboard. I should be sleeping, I was sleeping but I was woken up by the sound of a roach! How I hate roaches! 😩...I hope I finally fall back to sleep again.
With all this, I can never say today was cursed. Hectic yes, but a blessing- in it's own way!
