En este sentido cuenta con una Población. de más 45 habitantes y tiene un Curso de agua en presencia de Río Unare, sus festivales son celebradas en el mes de junio, específicamente el día 13 de junio, siendo patrón San Antonio de Padua. Esta población fue fundada el 17 de abril de 1584 por Francisco de Vides.

Los Pueblos en el estado Anzotegui, son muy coloniales, ya que fue por el oriente del País que ingresaron los españoles, dejando huella en este aspectos a nivel de estructuras como lo son las iglesias con muchos años de historia, otra cosa, se identifica por sus calles principales de puras piedras, tal como lo indica la última imagen.
