Llegaste a mi vida cuando más te necesitaba, un momento en donde solo tu compañía me hacía feliz. Fue aquel lindo día donde solo pude observar tus hermosos ojos color negro, y ese pelaje tan brillante que te hacia lucir esplendida, desde entonces supe que había encontrado a una excelente y fiel amiga. Aún recuerdo la primera vez que estuvimos juntas, solo me olfateabas y te alejabas, no dejabas que te acariciaría, ni me que me acercara, no confiabas en mí y lo entendía perfectamente, ya que tenías un gran temperamento. Temperamento que fue cayendo poco a poco, pues te diste cuenta que yo solo estaba ahí para amarte y protegerte. La primera vez que quisiste jugar conmigo fue trayéndome un calcetín en tu boca, sinceramente no sabía de donde lo habías sacado, ni en qué lugar estaba… solo pude observar que jugabas como un bebe cuando le dan un juguete por primera vez. Te conozco a la perfección, conozco cuando estas feliz y triste, cuando quieres comer o cuando quieres jugar, todas tus facetas las he aprendido poco a poco y me alegra estar al tanto de lo que sientas. Admiro mucho tu forma de ser, y es que eres una perrita que siempre está ahí, mirándome cuando estudio, al lado de mi cama cuando duermo o esperándome atentamente detrás de la puerta para darme un beso cuando llego de la universidad, solo te sientas a mi lado y te quedas conmigo sin esperar nada a cambio, es algo que verdaderamente aprecio y me llena el alma de puro amor, tan solo son pequeñas cosas hacen de mi vida la mejor ♡ Hoy me di cuenta de que tus facciones están cambiando cada día un poco más, tu bigote cada vez se torna más blanco y tus ojitos un poco caídos, pero no pasa nada así debe ser. Lo único que espero es que jamás dejes de sonreír, nadie ni nada te la puede quitar. Sigue corriendo por toda la casa, sigue buscando calcetines para jugar y sigue siendo tan traviesa, tan solo sigue siendo tú. Quiero que sepas querida Rita, que siempre voy a estar a tu lado, para cuidarte, amarte, protegerte y consentirte, solo espero que puedas estar muchísimos años junto a mí para seguir disfrutando de tan valiosa compañía. Solo puedo agradecerte por ser tan leal, por cuidarme, y por siempre sacarme una sonrisa. Te amo

You came into my life when I needed you most, a time when only your company made me happy. It was that beautiful day where I could only observe your beautiful black eyes, and that shiny fur that made you look splendid, since then I knew that I had found an excellent and faithful friend. I still remember the first time we were together, you just sniffed me and walked away, you didn't let me caress you, you didn't let me get close, you didn't trust me and I understood perfectly, since you had a great temper. Temperament that was falling little by little, because you realized that I was only there to love and protect you. The first time you wanted to play with me was by bringing me a sock in your mouth, honestly I didn't know where you got it from, or where it was... I could only see that you played like a baby when they give him a toy for the first time. I know you perfectly, I know when you are happy and sad, when you want to eat or when you want to play, I have learned all your facets little by little and I am glad to be aware of what you feel. I really admire your way of being, and you are a dog that is always there, looking at me when I study, next to my bed when I sleep or waiting attentively behind the door to give me a kiss when I get home from university, you just sit my side and you stay with me without expecting anything in return, it's something I truly appreciate and fills my soul with pure love, it's just little things that make my life the best ♡
Today I realized that your features are changing a little more every day, your mustache is becoming whiter and your little eyes are a little droopy, but nothing happens that way it should be. The only thing I hope is that you never stop smiling, no one and nothing can take it away from you. Keep running around the house, keep looking for socks to play with, and keep being so naughty, just keep being you.
I want you to know dear Rita, that I will always be by your side, to take care of you, love you, protect you and pamper you, I only hope that you can be with me for many years to continue enjoying such valuable company.
