Hello everyone! I introduce myself to the whole Hive and Peakd Community. My name is Javier, although you can call me Javi. Since, by circumstances of my life, my bad life; I was left on the street, I have seen a lot of how both waste and resources are wasted, wasted and are not well managed. Since I looked for the first time inside a container looking for something to put in my mouth, I understood that my future was aimed at giving a small solution to it. Desde que, por circunstancias de mi vida, mi mala vida; me quedé en la calle, he visto mucho de cómo tanto los residuos cómo los recursos se malgastan, se desaprovechan y no están bien gestionados. Desde que miré por primera vez en el interior de un contenedor buscando algo que llevarme a la boca, comprendí que mi futuro iba encaminado a darle una pequeña solución a ello. Now I live almost with just enough, I study journalism (I pay for this with my unemployment), I am doing a certificate in warehouse management and another in waste management (these are EU funds) and I collaborate as a volunteer in an association, called Bizitegi ("place of life" in Basque), in favor of people in social exclusion and with the Food Bank of my city, Bilbao. 25% of the income generated through this blog will go to Bizitegi. Because I believe that, if I generate money, a part of it should be used to improve this planet we live in. And what better way than investing in people.
Ahora vivo casi con lo justo, estudio periodismo (esto lo pago con mi paro), estoy haciendo un certificado de gestión de almacén y otro de gestión de residuos (esto son fondos de la UE) y colaboro como voluntario en una asociación, llamada Bizitegi (“lugar de vida” en euskera), a favor de las personas en exclusión social y con el Banco de Alimentos de mi ciudad, Bilbao. El 25% de los ingresos generados mediante este blog, los destinaré a Bizitegi. Porque creo que, si genero dinero, una parte debe de ser utilizada para mejorar este planeta en el que vivimos. Y qué mejor manera que invertir en personas.

I know there is an option when you create the blog in which you can directly allocate part of your profits to another user; but the association is still unaware of this platform and I would like to give them the opportunity to see for themselves the potential it has. My goal in this association besides trying to return, in part, the resources that society provided for me (sustainable circle) in his day when I ended up in the abyss of living on the street, is to create a small writing workshop with users of the center where you can have a voice and thanks to the benefits that their words can generate on this platform realize that everyone can contribute something. I would like to call the workshop "The voice of those who do have a voice". What do you think, any suggestions? Thank you very much in advance.
Sé que hay una opción cuando creas el blog en la que puedes destinar directamente parte de tus beneficios a otro usuario; pero la asociación aún desconoce de esta plataforma y me gustaría brindarles la oportunidad de que vean por sus propios ojos el potencial que tiene. Mi objetivo en esta asociación además de intentar devolver, en parte, los recursos que la sociedad dispuso para mí (circulo sostenible) en su día cuando acabé en el abismo de vivir en la calle; es poder crear un pequeño taller de escritura con los usuarios del centro donde pueda tener cabida su voz y que gracias a los beneficios que con sus palabras puedan generar en esta plataforma se den cuenta de que todo el mundo puede aportar algo. El taller me gustaría llamarlo “La voz de los que sí tienen voz”. ¿Qué opináis?, ¿alguna sugerencia? Muchas gracias de antemano.

This blog is about sustainability. But not about the sustainability that we are sold and that in my opinion is not real. I hope to be able to contribute, comment and above all learn a little more with you every day. Do not hesitate to contradict me if in doing so we all build together. Do we know what sustainability really is? Tomorrow we start, every gesture counts. A better world is possible.
Este blog, va sobre sostenibilidad. Pero no sobre la sostenibilidad que nos venden y que a mi juicio no es real. Espero poder aportar, comentar y sobre todo aprender cada día un poco más con vosotros. No dudéis en contradecirme si al hacerlo construimos todos juntos. ¿Sabemos lo que es realmente la sostenibilidad? Mañana empezamos, cada gesto cuenta. Un mundo mejor sí es posible.
