How to Make Caramel Cake

yooo hello my fellow hivers and all hive communities from all over the world wherever you are. come back again with me Jodi Pamungkas and Ema on the food and snack recipe blog that is very easy for you to make yourself at home without requiring a lot of money and time. thank you for those of you who have read and stopped by my previous post regarding the recipe for how to make butter sugar bread. Happy weekend to all of you who are on vacation or just relaxing at home with your family, I hope you are all fine without any problems. Well, on this Saturday I will share a caramel cake recipe that is very easy for you to make without requiring a lot of money. Coincidentally, one of Ema's aunts was visiting the house and sharing a very interesting recipe to make. actually this cake is quite old school and most Indonesian people call it the ant nest. why is it called an anthill? because the texture of this cake is slightly perforated like an ant's nest. for those of you who like caramel, you can immediately see the recipe below until it's finished and I hope you succeed in making this cake. good luck Hivers!

Well, to make this caramel cake, the ingredients you have to prepare are certainly not many and you can get them at the nearest super market. The first ingredients you have to prepare are wheat flour, tapioca flour, margarine, eggs, baking soda, baking powder, sweetened condensed milk, grated cheese and sugar. after you have prepared all the ingredients, now let's start the first step of making caramel cake dough.

The first step, what you have to do first is prepare a pot and put 350ml into the pan. Then, cook the water until it really boils over medium heat.

the second step, while the water is being boiled until it boils, now prepare a pan and put 7 tablespoons of granulated sugar into the pan. Then, cook the sugar using low heat until the sugar dissolves into caramel.

the third step, after you are ready to cook the sugar until it becomes caramelized, now add the boiling water that you cooked earlier into the pan and put 5 tablespoons of sugar back into the pan. Then, stir until the caramelized sugar boils over low heat.

the fourth step, after you are done with the caramelized sugar, set it aside and leave it until the caramelized sugar is completely cold. Now, clean the pan and put half a pack of margarine into the pan. Next, melt the margarine using only low heat.

the fifth step, after the margarine has melted, set aside in another place and cool. Now, we will prepare the caramel cake dough. First, prepare a place and put 12 tablespoons of flour, 12 tablespoons of tapioca flour, 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of baking powder. After that, stir the dry mixture until well blended.

the sixth step, after the dry dough has been mixed evenly, now move the dry dough that has been mixed well into a larger place, add 4 eggs and also the margarine that we melted earlier. Next, stir the dough until well blended using a whisk.

seventh step, after the dough has been stirred until evenly distributed, now enter 2 sachets of sweetened condensed milk into the dough and stir again until the sweetened condensed milk is well mixed using a whisk.

the eighth step, after the dough has been mixed well, now all you have to do is enter the caramelized sugar that has been chilled before. Then, stir again until the caramelized sugar is evenly mixed with the dough.

the ninth step, after the dough has been stirred until the caramelized sugar is evenly mixed, now prepare a baking sheet and spread margarine evenly into the pan and sprinkle flour in the pan. If you have baking paper, you can use baking paper as a base in the pan. Next, strain the dough into the pan slowly and carefully until the dough runs out.

the last step, after the dough has been filtered into the pan, now prepare the oven and preheat the oven for 10 minutes. after the oven is hot, now put the baking sheet into the oven and bake the dough at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius, with fire up and down for 45 minutes. tips so that the cake looks more nested, make sure the oven lid is slightly opened and propped up with whatever it is.

and finally, the caramel cake is ready to be eaten with your family and friends. I am very grateful to my aunt who has given me a caramel cake recipe that is very delicious and also does not disappoint.
