How to Make Spicy Chicken Sempol

So, this Friday, Ema and I will share a recipe for all of you about Sempol with spicy chicken filling. What is Sempol? Sempol is a snack that comes from East Java, Sempol is a kind of fried food made from tapioca flour. These snacks generally do not have any contents, over time, Sempol has been modified and has been made with various kinds of fillings, one of which is like the one I will make today. Well, the ingredients you have to prepare or buy to make this recipe are not so many, the first thing you have to prepare is chicken, tapioca flour, wheat flour, breadcrumbs, scallions, flavorings, shallots, sugar, salt, red chilies, lime leaves and finally the ice cream sticks. After you have prepared all the ingredients and spices, now let's start from the first step of making spicy chicken sempol.

The first step, what you have to do first is, prepare 250 grams of chicken or according to your wishes, then prepare a frying pan and put enough water in the pan. Then put all the chicken into the pan and also some lime leaves, then boil the chicken for about 20 minutes using medium heat.

The second step, while waiting for the chicken to be boiled for about 20 minutes, now prepare 5 chilies, 5 garlic, 4 shallots and also 5 cayenne peppers. After that, cut into small pieces the red chili, cayenne pepper, onion and garlic.

The third step, after you have cut all the ingredients that I have mentioned before, now prepare a blender and put all the ingredients into a blender, then blend everything until completely smooth.

The fourth step, after it has been blended until it is completely smooth, now we will return to the chicken that has been boiled. Next, cut the chicken into small pieces like the photo above.

The fifth step, after you have cut the chicken that you have boiled into small pieces, now prepare a frying pan and put enough cooking oil, then put all the spices that you have blended before. Then cook the spices using medium heat until the spices emit a fragrant aroma.

The sixth step, after the spices have been cooked until they emit a fragrant aroma, then add spices such as half a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of pepper, half a spoon of flavoring and a tablespoon of sugar. Then stir again all the spices until well blended.

The seventh step, after all the spices have been mixed well, now what you have to do next is put all the chicken pieces that you have prepared into the pan. Then stir again the spices until all the chicken is evenly mixed.

The eighth step, after all the chicken has been mixed well with the chili seasoning that has been blended, now we will make the Sempol dough. Now prepare a place, then put 250 grams of flour, 500 ml of mineral water and stir the dough until the flour is well mixed.

The ninth step, after the flour has been stirred until well blended, now add the sliced scallions, half a teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of flavoring. Then stir the mixture until everything is evenly mixed.

The tenth step, after everything is too late to mix well, now prepare the pan and put all the dough into the pan. Then stir continuously using low heat until the dough is really thick and also Khalis.

Well, you can see the photo above, the dough has been stirred continuously until the dough becomes thick and Khalis, you have to keep stirring, don't stop so that the dough doesn't burn.

The eleventh step, after the dough is really thick and the texture is lumpy, now move the dough to another place and leave it until the hot steam is gone. Then, after the hot steam of the dough has disappeared, now add 250grams of tapioca flour and mix using it until well blended.

The twelfth step, after the dough is completely smooth and well mixed, now take a little dough and flatten it in the palm of your hand, then put enough chicken that has been mixed with chili seasoning.

The thirteenth step, after you have put the chicken on the dough, now cover the chicken with the dough tightly so that when it is boiled the chicken does not come out. Repeat the previous step and this step until all the dough is done.

The fourteenth step, after all the dough has been filled with spicy chicken, now pierce all the dough using an ice cream stick like the photo above. Repeat this step until finished.

The fifteenth step, after all the dough has been filled and inserted with ice cream sticks, now prepare a frying pan and put enough water into the pan. Then boil all the dough using medium heat until the dough floats to the top.

Sixteenth step, while the dough is boiled until all the dough floats, now prepare a wet dough made of thawed wheat flour and prepare breadcrumbs.

The seventeenth step, after you have prepared the wet dough and breadcrumbs, now dip it evenly into the wet mixture. Repeat this step until all the dough has been evenly dipped into the wet mixture.

The eighteenth step, after all the dough has been dipped evenly, now spread all the dough evenly into the breadcrumbs. Repeat this step until finished.

The nineteenth step, after all the dough has been coated with breadcrumbs, now move all the dough into 1 place, then chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 1 hour so that the breadcrumbs stick to the dough.

The last step, after the dough has been frozen for about 1 hour, now fry as much as you want using medium heat until all is brown.

And finally, all of the spicy chicken Sempol contents have been fried and can be enjoyed for your friends and family. Well, like other Frozen snacks, you can fry anytime and anywhere you want. The taste is really very delicious and soft, spicy chicken is very pronounced when in the mouth. I highly recommend this snack for those of you who want to sell or business ideas. What do you think ?
