Today I want to show you a little of what I like to listen to when I'm cleaning my house or doing some other activity that allows me to have this sense of hearing available.
The truth is that I like to listen to podcasts but not about people's daily lives or showbiz, no gossip, for that I prefer a video format. I use the podcast app to listen to science fiction series, I love them, they take my senses to explore each sound and give them a mental image. I love when each sound, each word, is well done, the setting is so much that you are transported and in your mind it's like watching a movie. I love them so much that today I want to share 3 podcasts that I really liked.
Hoy quiero mostrar un poco de lo que me gusta escuchar cuando estoy haciendo la limpieza en mi casa o alguna otra actividad que me permita tener este sentido de la audición libre.
La verdad es que a mí me gusta escuchar podcast pero no de la vida diaria de las personas ni farándula, nada de chismes, para eso prefiero un formato video. Yo uso la app de podcasts para escuchar series de ciencia ficción, me encantan, llevan mis sentidos a explorar cada sonido y darles una imagen mental. Amo cuando cada sonido, cada palabra, está bien realizado, la ambientación es tanta que tú te trasladas y en tu mente es como ver una película. Los amo tanto que hoy te quiero compartir 3 podcasts que me han gustado mucho.
- Case 63:
This is my all-time favorite, I love everything that has to do with time paradoxes and I get obsessed to the point where I can't even sleep because of the excitement. And you won't believe it, but I found this gem by accident, since I was looking for something to help me fall asleep and the series was so good that it kept my eyes open and my mind active. This series was the one that changed my perspective on podcasts, because as I said before I listened to them to sleep but now I listen to everything attentively throughout the day or with activities that allow me to.
The good thing is that you can find this one in English and Spanish. Now, to tell you a little about what it's about. Starting with a man who says he comes from the year 2200, and because of this he is treated in a mental clinic, however the treating psychiatrist discovers that they have a rather strange link. Elisa Aldunate is the psychiatrist, she starts by recording sessions of the enigmatic patient Pedro Roiter (the supposed man from the future), registered as Case 63. At first they are therapy sessions but things quickly escalate, as the patient tells things to the psychiatrist that no one else knows, this raises alarms, what happens later is that we see how these characters begin to threaten the possible and the real. A story that moves freely between the future and the past of the two characters who perhaps have the future of humanity in their hands. I should mention that this is an original series from Spotify Podcasts.
This series was so good that they made several seasons. The series consists of three seasons, each with 10 episodes.
The first season was released on November 12, 2020
the second on November 11, 2021
the third on October 18, 2022.
On October 17, 2023, a spin-off of the story titled Enigma premiered, which also has 10 episodes.

Este es mi favorito de todos los tiempos, yo amo todo lo que tenga que ver con paradojas temporales y me obsesiono a un punto donde no puedo ni dormir de la emoción. Y no me lo van a creer pero esta joya la encontré por accidente, ya que estaba buscando algo para poder conciliar el sueño y la serie estaba tan buena que mantenía mis ojos abiertos y mi mente activa. Esta serie fue la que cambió mi perspectiva con los podcast, porque como dije antes los escuchaba para dormir pero ahora estoy durante todo el día o con actividades que me lo permitan, escuchando atentamente.
Lo bueno es que este lo pueden encontrar en inglés y en español. Ahora sí, para contarles un poco de que va. Empezando con un hombre dice venir del año 2200, y a causa de esto es tratado en una clínica mental sin embargo la psiquiatra tratante descubre que tienen un vinculo bastante extraño. Elisa Aldunate es la psiquiatra, ella empieza por grabae sesiones del enigmático paciente Pedro Roiter (el supuesto hombre del futuro), registrado como Caso 63. Al principio son sesiones de terapia pero la cosa va escalando rápidamente, ya que el paciente le va contando cosas a la psiquiatra que nadie más conoce, esto despierta las alarmas, lo que sucede más adelante es que vemos como estos personajes empiezan a amenazar lo posible y de lo real. Una historia que se mueve libremente entre el futuro y el pasado de los dos personajes que quizás, tienen en sus manos el futuro de la humanidad. Debo mencionar que esta es una serie original de Spotify Podcasts.
Esta serie fue tan bueno que hicieron varias temporadas. La serie consta de tres temporadas, cada una con 10 episodios.

This one is also great, it's a thriller. Listening to this podcast and feeling everything, every little sound and description is like being taken on a tour of Switzerland.
Here we will be told about the life of Ursula Blum but also about the disappearance of an art student. And it all happens because this student wanted to investigate much more about the life of this famous painter. It all begins when Clara Pastor, who is doing her thesis on the Swiss painter Ursula Blum, whom she has been researching for years, disappears without a trace; just an audio sent to her roommates to say that she is leaving and that they should not try to find her. Despite the insistence of her friends to contact her, they would never hear from her again. Some years later, Emma, a journalist and partner of Pablo, one of the boys with whom Clara shared a flat, discovers a suitcase with the things that Clara had left in the house before disappearing and which contains the notes and material on Blum that she was using for her thesis. This discovery awakens in Emma the desire and, in some ways, the need to continue the investigation that Clara had left unfinished and she decides to travel to Switzerland and write a podcast telling the whole story. Even though there are 9 chapters, as we listen to the story new questions and more action begin to emerge. I totally recommend it.

Este también es buenísimo, es un thriller. De verdad que escuchar este podcasts y sientes todo, cada pequeño sonido y descripción es como si te llevaran de paseo por suiza.
Aquí nos hablarán de la vida de Úrsula Blum pero también de la desaparición de una estudiante de arte. Y es que todo sucede porque esta estudiante quería investigar mucho más sobre la vida de esta famosa pintora. Todo comienza cuando Clara Pastor, que realiza su tesis sobre la pintora suiza Ursula Blum, a la que lleva años investigando, desaparece sin dejar rastro; tan solo un audio enviado a sus compañeros de piso para decir que se marcha y que no traten de localizarla. A pesar de la insistencia de los amigos por contactarla, nunca volverían a saber de ella. Algunos años después, Emma, periodista y pareja de Pablo, uno de los chicos con los que Clara compartía piso, descubre una maleta con las cosas que Clara había dejado en la casa antes de desaparecer y que contiene los apuntes y el material sobre Blum que estaba utilizando para su tesis. Este hallazgo despierta en Emma el deseo y, de alguna manera también la necesidad, de continuar la investigación que Clara había dejado sin terminar y decide viajar a Suiza y escribir un podcast contando toda la historia. A pesar de que son 9 capitulos, a medida que vamos escuchando la historia empiezan a salir nuevas interrogantes y más acción, lo recomendo totalmente.

This podcast is one of the most recent ones I've listened to, I think it's the only one that's only in Spanish. And in fact, this one is still on air. What I don't like about getting hooked on a show and it not being complete is that sometimes it doesn't let me sleep, and I'm not joking, my head starts looking for continuity of the story and theories start, my brain activity increases a lot, the need to give it a closure eats me up inside.

Este podcast es uno de los más recientes que he escuchado, creo que es el único que solamente está en español. Y de hecho, este todavía está en emisión. Lo que no me gusta de engancharme con un programa y que no esté completo es que a veces no me deja dormir, y no bromeo, mi cabeza empieza a buscar continuidad de la historia y empiezan las teorías, mi actividad cerebral aumenta muchísimo, la necesidad de darle un cierre me come por dentro.
