LOS OTROS HUMANOS
Levantemos la mirada
hacia la vida
hacia la prosperidad
ante ese grito que a cada rato
se oye sin haber nadie
gritos y lamentos de dolor
que abundan en la vida
por doquier.
Vamos y tomemos de la mano
al que caeal indefenso
que no tiene a nadie
sino a la providencia
está a la deriva en la vida
con miedo con mucho miedo
no tiene defensa
sino la de creer en Dios
anda con su fe de un lado
y del otro lado
buscando ayuda para vivir.
No seamos uno más
de los que nos ignoran
de esos que son como nosotros
con sus piernas, ojos y brazos
pero por dentro llevan una carga
la carga de la imnominia
con rostros trastocados
por la avaricie y la barbarie.
Nosotros debemos seguir
siendo ese humano noble
humilde y solidario
para proteger al débil
que nos llama a cada instante
con los sonidos del silencio.
OTHER HUMANS
Let us raise our gaze
towards life
towards prosperity
in the face of that cry that is heard every now and then
without anyone being there
screams and cries of pain
that abound in life
everywhere.
Let us go and take by the hand
the one who fallsthe defenseless
who has no one
but providence
is adrift in life
with fear, with much fear
has no defense
but that of believing in God
walks with his faith on one side
and on the other side
seeking help to live.
Let us not be one more
of those who ignore us
of those who are like us
with their legs, eyes and arms
but inside they carry a burden
the burden of innominy
with faces distorted
by greed and barbarism.
We must continue
being that noble,
humble and supportive human being
to protect the weak
who call us at every moment
with the sounds of silence.
