This thing is getting so much bigger than just a US story
What started out as a few protests and riots in select cities within the United States has quickly turned into something more, much more.
As I type there are massive protests taking place in the largest cities in the US:

With thousands upon thousands of people showing up at these things today.
More than just a U.S. thing...
We are now also seeing protests start popping up all over the world as well...

The good news is that many of these protests are becoming more peaceful in nature from what we saw early on.
More people are showing up but they violence is going down.
They are calling for reform...
Reform to the justice system, reform of politics, reform of the working class, and overall just a reform away from racism.
The interesting thing is that now bitcoin is also being called upon as a way to support the BLM movement and for reform.
How crazy would it be that what starts initially as a racial issue created the financial reform that many had been hoping would happen for decades...

I sure hope so, all the violence and looting does nothing but hurt the rightous cause they are fighting for. I also hope though that all this leads to greater descentralization and more adoptance of cryptocurrency.
Yea the numbers are increasing and the looting/violence is decreasing. It really is fascinating to watch. I looks like a revolution is in the works and it will be interesting what comes out of this.
If it's a peaceful protest than ok, but the problem is with the violent protests which is happening all over the world.
Yea, much of the violence and looting has died down... but the numbers protesting are up 10 fold.

Bitcoin has never had a better macro environment than it has right now.
BLM movement is actually feeding the racism... Instead of African-American people being the inferior race, result of BLM will be that Caucasian race will become the inferior... It's not just something that affects USA, as a lot of Asian people have ancestors who are African American, not forgetting hip hop movement is strong in Asia.
I'm not sure about the inferior race thing, but I believe the end goal is equal rights for all. It will be interesting to see what comes from all of this.
People can't be equal... That's as impossible as men and women being equal... It has nothing to do with race or gender, it has everything to do with individual properties of human body and personality.

Yea it looks like stuff out of a movie... The number of people protesting at the Washington Monument looked like what we saw with the Vietnam protests...
OMG this is huge but the important thing is how they are protesting. peaceful protest is one of the best thing to do protest.
That is what is mostly going on now. The violence and riots and looting has died down significantly.
It will be epic if this really can turn into a financial reform. Earlier yesterday, I barely escaped beatings from a military man because I had cold and had difficulties in breathing so I couldn't wear my nose mask. It's mandatory to wear nose masks but then one shouldn't suffer brutality for it. We need to reform or social systems

Its sad to see that Police Brutality, racism and oppression of the poor and working class is a world-wide issue, but not surprising. Divide and conquer has been used to divide the poor and enrich the rich since time immortal.
It would be very interesting to see if this growing distrust of establishment structures is good for cryptocurrency.

We are at a critical point due to the quarantine and pandemic, but even so, people bravely dare to fight for them. rights, against unjust acts. I hope that soon we can all be calmer. Since we are all children of God.
It has certainly gotten bigger than I ever expected it would initially.
It 1st started as a protest to get justice for George Floyd (RIP) and to raise voice against the racial discrimination happening in US. But now it has became a revolution to destroy the racial discrimination from all around the world and change the world so that no one have to face this in near future.
Yep, pretty much. It has all the makings of a revolution at this point, and people in power are starting to listen.
That's the power of people and unity
I just pray and hope this racism would stop someday. It's what I see lately on the news
