Funny story

in GEMS5 years ago

Yesterday, on my way to the sea, I turned into a narrow street. My dear friends, there is almost an art gallery here, right under the open sky. I stopped, of course, and began to take pictures.

Then a woman came running out of the house and started talking to me in a loud, animated voice in her own Bulgarian. And I am neither boom-boom, I only know a few vital words-sentences, so as not to starve or go somewhere, thought that swears.

I said, " I'm Sorry, I didn't know you couldn't take pictures." I think those who knows the Bulgarian laws, certainly not I, all of a sudden something broke. And I step back slowly, so that I can quickly slip away…

Here the woman began to smile and in pure Russian says: "Oh, you are Russian. Wait, don't go, it's been so long since I've spoken to anyone. Tell us where you are from, when you arrived, what is already possible for tourists from Russia to come here, how you got here....." she Said in Russian, but as quickly and without stopping as only Bulgarians can. I'm always surprised when they get enough air in their lungs between words.

I was a little upset when I found out that I was "wintering" here because of the pandemic and that there were no tourists. She told me about her Bulgarian husband, who runs a souvenir shop. She worries that they will not earn anything this season and that relatives will not be able to come, because they have a tourist visa only…

Here is so and chatted...
When we said good-bye, I asked her why she was screaming… You will never guess, because it is purely Bulgarian stuff. It turns out that when she saw that I was shooting, she jumped out to offer her services in painting-painting these metal boxes, walls, doors. She screamed because Bulgarians do not know how to speak softly. They're probably afraid they won't be heard. Besides, they are used to talking from window to window. I mean, from the window of one house to the window of the house across the street. How can I not yell?

It was all drawn by this particular woman. She was tired of looking at rusty, crooked boxes, so she applied her skills. After that, people started looking in the house and asking who had drawn it. So she got a job… The work here is not easy, and this year it is very bad.

Here's the story…
