An awesome story of commitment on your part. I can tell you are a person of your word. You don't want to get a bad reputation in life because it is all a person has when dealing with others. I'm so happy to hear your boss reimbursed you for the amount of money you spent on office equipment. He should have given you the money upfront instead of you having to use your own money.
It all worked out in the end. But the fact that you gave your reimbursement to your aunt to help in her health issues is another reason why I think you are a selfless person who do good for others first.
