Yeah, I think it's the same in every country. Even today when there is much less upper class violence I wouldn't want to be born into royalty. If I were to be rich, I'd rather be an unknown rich guy. haha if such a thing is possible!
Oh, I make sure those wealthy Chinese Amwayers are just unknown/invisible rich and happy guys. So such a thing is really possible! You can say Amway is esoteric in China(but I got envolved in it a few years ago)!
It is said that although the governments between Russia and Ukrain are in the flames of war now, the Amway selling people between 2 countries still work and join hands together, getting along like an intimate family.
Amway is a multi-national American company being run in more than 90 countries. Pitifully it is just mistaken or even slandered as the the evil Ponzi scheme or the so-called "Rat club" by most of Chinese people who know nothing about what's going on due to the government's washbraining.
The truth is that Amway is just a great bridge of love and friendship between China and US whose governments are not in good terms. Here is a video clip about Amway. I have seen this couple and listened to their wonderful/splendid speeches in Zhengzhou city(the capital of Henan province) several times. However, only a few Chinese have ever taken part in such kind of Amway meetings like me in reality(at least in my local place). Nobody(or few Chinese people) knows they live such a wealthy and honorable/successful life. In Chinese mainstream society, they are regarded as the "evil" pyramid selling people, so I am still rather shocked when I see this video clip where they were recognized and awarded by American President Bush recently!
