After reading my friend @cmplxty comment, whom I thank for taking the time and reviewing my blog, I decided to explain about a term that I use specified but that not all of us use, we are here to learn from you and me. In every post I've been able to read, I learn from you.
R3
The letter R means medical resident or resident. To achieve this state, it was necessary for the professional to study a medical career once graduated, the doctor has the option to prepare for a specialty, there are all kinds of specialties such as: cardiology, pediatrics and the one currently studying Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Gynecology is a specialty where women are cared for throughout their lives, including pregnancy and childbirth, possible diseases in the female reproductive organ are prevented, diagnosed and treated, among many other treatments.
R1, R2, R3 deals with the specific years of study according to specialty and university.
To study a specialty in a (public) university, a contest is held if you are selected after many tests to be able to study the specialty, there are many hours on call in hospitals where the doctor sleeps very little and works all night and day can extend one day and one night more, the truth is that when the university has a remuneration, they are generally symbolic amounts not ostentatious.
My friends, all this effort is definitely worth it, it is very hard work but also rewarding. Without a doubt I am in the best place.
