Sin embargo hace poco tiempo un cliente me pidio que lo ayudara a reforzar un pantalon, le dije que nunca lo habia realizado.
Les confieso que remendar ropa ajena no me agrada, pero bueno no quería decir que no al cliente.
Él quería que le colocara dos parchos de ambos lados de las piernas a su pantalón; no estaban rotos pero él quería reforzarlos.
Al final el resultado me gusto mucho y el cliente quedo satisfecho.
However, a short time ago a client asked me to help him reinforce a pair of pants, I told him that I had never done it before.
I confess that mending other people's clothes does not please me, but I did not want to say no to the client.
He wanted me to put two patches on both sides of his legs; they were not broken but he wanted to reinforce them.
In the end I liked the result very much and the client was satisfied.

Lo primero que corresponde en este trabajo es ubicar la zona afectada para saber por donde vamos a descoser el pantalón.
Recuerden que como tiene forma de tubo no podemos coserlo de ese modo.

Luego procedemos a medir el área que deseamos reforzar, esto para que ambas partes queden igual y se vea mucho mejor el trabajo.
Medimos, marcamos y cortamos.

Presentamos la pieza cortada en el lugar donde vamos a coser y nos cercioramos de que quede perfecta.
En mi caso tuve que recortar 2 centímetros para que quedara bien.
Fijamos con alfileres y damos la primera puntada por los bordes, yo utilicé la puntada zic zac.
We present the piece cut in the place where we are going to sew and make sure it is perfect.
In my case I had to cut 2 centimeters to make it look good.
We fixed with pins and gave the first stitch by the edges, I used the zic zac stitch.

Ya por último y con la ayuda de la tiza para marcar tela, se marca una X que cruce cada esquina.
Esa fue petición del cliente y de cierto modo tiene sentido, para que quede mejor.
Ya para finalizar; cerramos el pantalón donde lo habíamos descosido y estará listo.
Finally, with the help of fabric marking chalk, an X is marked across each corner.
This was a request from the client and in a way it makes sense, so that it looks better.
Finally, we closed the pants where we had unsewn them and they were ready.
