Happy Birthday to all. Yesterday we celebrated the birthday of one of our coworkers, and it was a very special day in which we shared gifts, but best of all was the meals that we all prepared to share, as usual each one of us took a special meal to work. This time I had to prepare a meat pasticho, the meat pasticho is the Venezuelan version of lasagna, it is very similar but it has its own particular recipe, it has ham, parmesan cheese, tomato sauce and bechamel. There is not a single recipe, but many times the pasticho dough is substituted by eggplant, among other ingredients.

Ayer celebramos el cumpleaños de una de nuestras compañeras de trabajo ,y fue un dia muy especial en el cual compartimos regalos ,pero lo mejor de todo fue las comidas que preparamos todos para compartir , como es costumbre cada quien llevo preparado al trabajo una comida especial. En esta ocasión me toco preparar un pasticho de carne ,el pasticho de carne es la versión venezolana de la lasaña, se le asemeja mucho pero tiene su propia receta en particular , lleva jamón , queso parmesano ,salsa de tomate y bechamel. No existe una única receta muchas veces sustituyen la pasta del pasticho por berenjena ,entre otros ingredientes.
